I had an excellent time at Long Cove. The cabin I stayed in was very clean and smelled fresh upon arrival. The view of the lake from my porch was spectacular. It felt like being away from the city's hustle and bustle, yet it was only a short drive to shopping and food. I would recommend this place every time!

Clean and a beautiful place to relax during off seasons. Would like to come back during on seasons for boat rentals, kayak rentals, swimming, and fishing. Would recommend 10/10.

For my birthday this year, I wanted a little peace; to get away for a little and unplug… And I did just that at Long Cove! Highly recommend coming to them if you want a place to relax and be comfortable. This place is a hidden gem! I forgot I was in Charlotte. The first morning there, we noticed the shower wasn’t working. We found out the pipes froze in our cabin (expected with the cold weather we had lately) but the staff at Long Cove immediately addressed the issue and accommodated us. We ended up being move to an even bigger cabin right next door with so much space. We stayed in cabin 7 & the view of the lake from the cabin was breathtaking; especially in the mornings when the sun is rising! The area is quiet and cabins were clean. Overall, Long Cove really is just a peaceful and comfortable place to stay; a great place for families, couples, or even solo trips if you need a break from reality. I really enjoyed my birthday getaway at Long Cove and I cannot wait to come back in the spring/ summer.

I absolutely loved staying here, will definitely rebook again. When I find my myself again in the Charlotte area. Very quiet and reserved, the vibe gives; if you wanted to finish writing a book this is where I would come. It's very outdoors; so make sure you have 4WD to make it up the hill. We really didn't know how to work the thermometer in the room for heat but it was fine. Just a heads up the mini doesn't have a freezer, lol I wish I knew that before buying ice cream. Overall great stay; like I stated.
