This place is beautiful. The views are amazing, the restaurant was delicious. We enjoyed the pool and the nespresso machine. There is a gift shop with a full espresso menu. Highly recommend.

This is a great location with all the amenities! The pool was awesome, the views are great. There’s hiking and horse back riding on the property as well as SPA treatments. We ate at the restaurant but was not impressed with the food. However you may not have a lot of dining options and at least it was available! My only complaint was the AC was very loud and did not seem to cool the room down.

Everything was great, The pool got very crowded around 3 pm but I used the side pool instead of the main and it was far less crowded with the same views.

The views are fantastic as is the setting above the valley. The pools are wonderful and well kept. The property is in terrific shape for being almost 60 years old. The restaurant served very good food, though the service was only adequate possibly due to under staffing. The rooms were spacious and very well appointed. There are no tvs so bring a good book if you want to be inside. There are many activities available right at the lodge which makes an extended stay very worthwhile. Sun Mountain is definitely worth checking out.

It was so beautiful at the lodge! We were able to relax and even though there were other people around, everyone was very respectful of not being too loud. We really enjoyed the scenery and were also able to do some horseback riding!!

Wonderful little resort. Stay in the main lodge, the cabins and lake are 2 miles away with zero onsite transportation. Very helpful staff, Stephanie went above and beyond to ensure my late night arrival was absolutely perfect. She is exactly what genuine hospitality looks like. Bret in adventures hooked me up with a E-bike that was a ton of fun for exploring Winthrop and was very helpful. Food is outstanding and the views are top notch. Will definitely be back. Don’t miss this gem! The only downside was lack of laundry facilities and a shuttle. But those were minor compared to my great overall experience in every regard.

Amazingly beautiful location with such fun amenities! Only disappointing part was the food, very expensive and pretty sub par. And it will take at least a 15 min drive to find other food, but otherwise such an amazing spot and would come back again.

The room and the resort grounds were lovely. Our room had a spectacular view of Mt. Gardiner from its private balcony - quite lovely and a special part of our stay. Views from the patio outside the main building and from the restaurant and bar were also outstanding.
