This hotel is in an interesting area of the falcon. It was very tastefully decorated and spotless. Our room had a private patio outside, and served a great breakfast. The bartender on the rooftop was fantastic and gave us a few tricks. He was helpful, even Paul hopped in the car to help us figure out where to park since some streets were closed for holiday events. We will return.

I recently spent a few days here with my niece. The location of the hotel is very strategic, close to everything. We chose the first floor since there are fewer ladies on the first floor, but, as you might already know, the second floor is used for Europe. We had one decentsized flight of stairs, which wasn't too terrible. We chose the first floor because the 2 of us are mature ladies, because there is no lift. As you might be aware, the first floor means the second level. The staff was friendly. The room is surprisingly big like you normally find in older hotels. The bathroom was also very roomy. Breakfast is adequate and has good choices.

The room was very spacious but not enormous. There is a large bathroom and nice air conditioning. The location is close to all things in Gent and the city seems interesting. Everything is clean and tidy.

We chose this hotel because of its strategic location, only 10 minutes walk from the central sights. Unfortunately, there aren't enough spaces. We were welcome and satisfied with the room's cleanliness, the breakfast is good for a cheap hotel, and the hotel's decor is old.
