I really enjoyed my lovely room at the Neuchatel. The cost was a good deal for such a lovely boutique hotel. The front desk staff was a young, friendly bunch who were always available for my questions, spoke excellent English and allowed me to check in early because my room was ready. The location is great because it is not far from the Brussels Midi station take the tram 81 and is around the corner from the lovely neighboring chaplain. The bed was very comfortable and perfect for a nap in the afternoon. Loved the pillows and duvet. I also appreciate the coffee and tea facilities in the room, despite the maid hadn't replenished the stock of tea bags and coffee. Unfortunately, the walls can be quite thin and if there is a small party in the room next door, you will hear it. But I loved it there and will be back!.

The rooms were ok and tidy enough. Good value for money for the price I paid, but due to demand based pricing, the room rate meant I couldn't justify returning the following week theres a big congress in town, I just hate it when the room rate more than doubles. The room could have used some updating. Sometimes it's the little things that really make a difference. The layout meant there was no beside table, which was inconvenient. No nightlight or glow lamp meant you had to turn on the full, very bright bathroom light if you needed to go at night. Rug curling under the bed. To channels and volume, it seemed a bit random. And the exterior of the room window was very dirty and had no blackout curtains. Nighttime wasn't particularly warm. Again, with demand-based pricing, the room rate rockets up the following week, more than doubling, meaning I couldn't return there for even a single night.

I really appreciate this Hotel. The location is in the beautiful building, each room is individually designed, and the breakfast is also adequate, with a good selection, and the scrambled eggs were outstanding. Also, all of the rooms in my room were adequate in size and offered a large bed and a great bathroom. This place has a quiet atmosphere because it has a back garden. They are very friendly and courteous. Even though I checked late, I was greeted warmly and respectfully, thank you, Martin.

Overall, this is a fantastic hotel, and I will undoubtedly return here the next time I visit Brussels. This is a lovely small hotel in a fantastic city. Everything I required was in the room, including a comfy bed, swift wifi, great water pressure in the shower, a fan, and a desk. The service was excellent all the way through, starting with the quick check-in and ending with the quick check-out, as well as useful suggestions in between, such as where to buy fruit, where to get great drinks, and the printing service. The location is excellent, a little off the beaten path, but still in a location where you will feel secure strolling home late at night. It is also near local transportation and within walking distance of some of Brussels' most touristy areas.
