We absolutely recommend staying here and will certainly stay here again when we return to Botswana! We spent two nights at the seashore with our family. What a wonderful time we had. The hosts truly make this a unique location. They planned a day outing for us. We took a guided tour of the Okavango River and then went on a walking safari. It was fantastic! One evening at the inn, they also supper for us, and the next night, they suggested a fantastic restaurant in town. But what was most remarkable was when we informed them of our next stop, they informed us that roads and timings would be difficult, etc. Because we were a large group and didn't have a place to stay, I was upset and worried. Well, they intervened and helped us save our trip. They connected us with the proper places and individuals, so we ended up staying in an amazing place and having a wonderful experience. They saved our trip and made it even more unforgettable! It's also so lovely and relaxing to stay by the waterside. The rooms are lovely and comfy. Breakfast was delicious. Waterfront lodging is unbeatable.

If you enjoy traveling in the city, we wouldn't think twice about recommending a hotel stay with Patrick. Patrick runs a wonderful bed breakfast overlooking the river. The rooms are very clean, with comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities in each room, excellent security with powerful showers and private balconies for taking in the sunsets. Breakfast is a buffet format with his daughter's delicious breads and cakes, with plenty of options, fruits, cereals, yogurts, meats, cheeses, eggs, and so on. It's simple to see why he has so many returning guests. He also arranged a safari outing for us, and he also recommended and booked local restaurants for evening meals. He is an absolute gentleman, and nothing is too much trouble for him. He is a mine of advice and information with many years of experience with safaris and being able to connect you with reputable guides.

In December while on my way from more to the car, I had the pleasure of staying here for one night. What a lovely spot for a rest! Or be more long and do more exploration. From the minute I arrived until I left the next day, I was very greeted, desperately hoping to have some time to rest the next night! Everything you could possibly need is provided in this serene oasis. Although I was going to town for dinner, I was so engaged in chatting with Patrick, the owner, about his extensive and useful knowledge of the reserve and routes, that I never went to supper! However, it was made up for by savoring a bottle or two of his wonderful wines, as well as his fantastic breakfast spread the following morning, which included a wealth of homemade cakes and pastries. I cannot speak highly enough of the waterfront!.

The place was amazing, I love how they provided a balcony overlooking the river, a fridge, and a comfy bed, complete with hot water bottles, plus the bathroom was so beautiful.

The breakfast here was good, and the owner was extremely helpful, especially when he recommended the okanogan brewery for dinner on Sunday. And then, this room was clean and huge. Besides that, they provided a nice view from the river, in the morning we left there were even hippos with a live hippos.
