The place is clean, quiet and spacious! Very comfortable bed and clean beddings. The washroom is big and well maintained with double sinks, a lot of room for 2 people doing make up together. The kitchen is big with all equipment if you want to make food. The location is very convenient and blue berry farm right beside. We have enjoyed our stay! Will definitely come back again. Thank you!

Friendly staff and a clean, comfortable room. The only suggestion for improvement would be to add a dresser or drawers for guests to store their belongings. The location is a bit far from downtown Vancouver, but other than that, it’s a great place to stay at a very reasonable price for a couple of nights.

Clean and comfortable. The house is huge so there is lots of space and each room has sufficient privacy. The location is great if you have a car. It is just a short drive to the airport.

This is a huge house but I only stayed in the room and used the kitchen sparingly. I entered the house at night using a keypad. The hall was dark and I had to use my cell flashlight to find my room. It had furniture but one lamp and no manual A/C or heat. Sharing a bathroom was a drag. The owner didn’t speak English. But it was functional enough.

Very basic clean room with bathroom and shower. No table lamp and skylight has no curtain so room gets light with the sunrise in the morning.No issue with access and clear instructions.

Access to the property is through a key code, it took me 6 goes to gain access via the door key pad system. The system only responds in Chinese which for me was not helpful at all, as I could not work out why the code was not working. I was told where my room was, on the 3rd floor (1st floor being the ground floor) and that there would be a key in the door lock, there wasn't and the door was locked. As there is no reception, I called the number I was given, there was no response and I could not leave a message as the box was full. I sent a message via the link, again there was no response. Eventually a Chinese woman was walking on the floor below. I asked her about how I could get access to me room, but she only spoke Chinese and no English. Eventually through online interpreter, she was able to get my room key. By this time I was very hot and sweaty. The location is at least 11 minutes walk from the nearest bus stop, which I had used in the heat with my luggage. I did ask for instructions as to how best get to the property but did not get any response. I was told that I could have access to the kitchen, but this was fully occupied by a large group who seemed to use all the 1st (ground) floor and when I went into the kitchen to look for a glass, I was asked what I wanted. So I did not use the kitchen again. There is a microwave on the 2nd (1st) floor but the fridge next to it was full, so I could not use it. Otherwise room was very clean.

I want to start off by saying for the price it wasn't the worst. But I want to make a few things clear. There are weird stains on the bed frames, bedding, and other furniture. Crushed buggs smeard on walls. Bring your own slippers as the floor is not clean. I would wipe down every surface your going to be touching. There is no lamps in the room. Only the over head light is available. There is no TV in the rooms either. The shared bathroom situation was a little frustrating as our roommates would hog the bathroom in the morning. But mainly please be aware you can not flush any tissue or wipes down the toilet. It's is expected you place soiled tissue in the shared trash can. It is changed out daily but was still a shock. We felt safe, was the bare minimum or what we needed and affordable. But could be so much more enjoyable if the things I listed were adjusted. Hope this helps.

Room is in attic. It has a glass on the roof and it cannot be closed by curtain. So in the morning light comes in at 5am and I couldn’t even sleep. Make the room very bright, I have to sleep in dark. Don’t believe why they don’t close it with something. Hair dryer is not even working. Also the code for the entrance I need to press a # key after the code, and instructions didn’t mention the # key. I have to figure out myself

I’m hindsight our experience had so much potential and we were so disappointed to be proven wrong. Whoever cleans the rooms before they pass them on to the next guest does NOT do a good job, it feels like all they did was make the bed, change the garbage and give new towels. In our cabinets (nightstands), there was empty water plastic bottles, and empty cans (and the box!) of an alcoholic beverage! It seemed as though it had spilled as well as they had left a sticky residue that we had to clean ourselves. We IMMEDIATELY contacted the property and received no response during our stay or even after. The previous guests had also left bottles of their toiletries in the shower which, by the indication of their presence and that the shower floor still had glops of body wash, shows it had not been cleaned up or removed by the staff. We know it’s not the property providing amenities because the conditioner was purple conditioner for bleached blonde hair (not a universal product). The bed sheets were covered in lint that pilled black on our skin. If you went to sleep while your body lotion hasn’t dried, you will wake up with tiny black balls of lint on your skin! There is NO A/C, the room has a fan but no bug screen on the window. By the end of our trip we had many insects that made their way into our room because the fan wasn’t enough to cool us down, we had to open the window.

We knew we were taking a chance by renting a room. However, the shared bathroom had no lock on the door and the bed was a box spring. It felt like sleeping on plywood. We lifted the sheets and saw it was just box springs. We left pretty much once we discovered what we got into. Will never do that again.
