I stayed at Otter Hotel for a quick getaway. It is perfectly situated on Banff Ave, with bus access into town and other tourist attractions. The room and property was immaculate. I would stay there again. The view from the hot pool was spectacular.

Banff was a wonderful place to visit, and the Otter Hotel added to the enjoyment in a big way. The room was great, the staff were awesome and we loved the hot pool after a long day. Their restaurant, Good Folk, was so good we ate there both nights… the duck and the mussels were the BEST.

Loved the stay at Otter hotel and its location. Very clean and the restaurant food is top quality (we ate breakfast. afternoon tea with excellent desserts and dinner which was great; we also had breakfast at their sister hotel next door), as well as service. Truly well prepared food. Room was good. Huge bathroom. Very clean. The only improvement that would be needed - pillows are not comfortable, air conditioner is quite loud and room door has a lot of light coming in at night from the corridor.

The restaurant Good Folk downstairs was very good. The garage was easy to access from inside the hotel and had plenty of parking. They offered complimentary bus passes, a nice idea given the parking difficulty downtown. And the little bottle of fresh milk delivered to the room to go with the lovely coffee and teas was a lovely idea!

The hot tub view is spectacular and not over crowded. Gym could be better but clean and looks like new equipments. The restaurant Good Folks has excellent food. The rooms are modern. We love staying there. Feels pampered.

Beautiful, clean, luxurious. Staff was so nice & helpful. Hot tub view of the mountains was fantastic. In-room hot beverages including high quality pour-over coffee was a total game-changer. We also loved our balcony to sit & drink coffee & bird-watch. We loved that the hotel was positioned on the edge of town, away from the hustle and bustle, yet within easy walking distance of the town center. Honestly, I wish every hotel was exactly like this.

The Otter Hotel was the perfect choice for my wife and I. We are on a moth long camping trip across America and wanted to see Banff. We chose to take a break from camping and landed at the Otter. It was wonderful. The people at the desk greeted us like family and were so accommodating. Our room was perfect with a view of the mountains. Spectacular. A very comfortable room with a great shower and mattress. We slept like Koala Bears. (Koala Bears sleep a lot). Thank you Otter and thank you to the restaurant ate the Canoe next door. Great food and wonderful servers.

What a beautiful property! We will stay here again! Location is on Banff Ave away from all the tourists BUT with the free transit pass we were in and out of the main area in minutes. The walk was about 20-25mim depending on your pace but it’s flat and doable with kids and active elderly parents. The 2 outdoor hot tubs were great even in the summer! Wish one could be a cold plunge, ha! We spent time just sitting outdoors enjoying the view of the surrounding mountains! The staff were all super friendly and helpful! The in room pour over coffee was delicious. The selection of Jolene’s tea was amazing. We enjoyed a night cap at the restaurant in the evenings which was perfect! Room was clean, pillows were firm but fluffy. Beds and bedding luxurious as was the Rocky Mountain Soap Co. toiletries! We were spoiled here at Otter Hotel. Thank you!

Comfortable, clean and spacious room! Beautifully appointed lobby. Loved the hot tubs and sauna, so relaxing after hiking all day! Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Quiet. Great free parking in an underground garage! Absolutely loved it. Great value for the price.
