We spent two nights in the hotel costanera on a family trip to upon villarrica. The hotel team was quick to answer our questions about onsite parking prior to arrival, which was appreciated. Parking is undoubtedly a bonus as you must hire a car to travel around this area, and the surrounding areas of the lake are very busy, particularly during the summer. Upon arrival at the hotel, even though we knew it was too early to check in, no one was at the front desk, so we had to wait for about 10 minutes to be attended. Even though we had arrived in the morning, and then gone out for the day, the hotel appeared unaware that we had arrived, and in the late afternoon, began to call us to see if we were still coming. An apparent lack of communication. After finally checking in later that evening, the triple room was well appointed and spacious, with a wonderful view of the lake and volcano. However, despite being a triple room, basic necessities like three towels were overlooked. The double room was next door in the hallway and was excellent, but the drains from the bathroom did leave a foul smell. The blinds were also broken, and one window didn't have any, so lots of light came in at night. Breakfast was simple but adequate, and the staff was friendly. Overall, a pleasant stay, but not in the same quality as hotels in Europe or

Despite being a triple room, basic necessities such as having three towels were overlooked. The double room, which was just down the corridor, was also lovely, however, the bathroom drains did smelled foul. The blinds were also broken, and one window didn't have any, so plenty of light stayed at night. Breakfast was simple but adequate, and the staff was accommodating. Overall a pleasant stay, but not as good as hotels in Europe or Asia, even though much more expensive. This is
