While passing through, we only stayed for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The waterfront and downtown are both 810 minutes away from the hotel, but there is a nice walkway that helps to avoid the streets of traffic. We arrived late, so we enjoyed our informal supper at the hamburger bar downstairs. Highly advisable.

I stayed for one night. The room is big and clean as is the bathroom. Good location. The hotel is in good shape but could use some renovation. I thought the price was a bit high for what it was, but still within the realm of acceptable. Staff quite nice, warning parking is small!

It's simple to walk into town, but without the noise of passing people out your window. I stayed on the top floor for four nights. If the clouds allowed, the large bed and room were complete with a good bathroom and a view of the lake and volcano outside. This hotel is close to the town, making it convenient and quiet. The omelet is by far the best in our tour. The selection of the buffet was fruit, yogurt, berries, whole wheat bread, and eggs. They provided excellent and friendly service, but the coffee was weak. The front desk was very helpful in getting me a therapist for my injured back. The space was well cleaned. Burger bars are downstairs in the area that is quite good and convenient. Made me a wonderful meat-free salad in this place. While in Puerto Vargas, stay at the Santa Fe restaurant. I believe this hotel has raised the bar, and the subsequent hotels will not live up to it.
