The location is not too far from all the restaurants. You will see a nice guest named Evelyn who makes you feel comfortable and gives you good service. The room was comfortable and the bed was comfy and clean. The bathroom and shower were also clean.

My taxi driver always retorted that the address was a business address rather than a hotel, which makes me think this hotel is fairly new. I'm on the second floor of the Taipei hotel, which is in fact a commercial property that is leased to several businesses. Kevin, the hotel manager, was incredibly kind and accommodating, providing us with a wide variety of recommendations on things to do and places to go. Since I've been in Taiwan for a week, I'd say he's the greatest English speaker I've ever met among the locals, which is a blessing for a non-chinese speaker like me. The hotel is spotless and peaceful. The balcony of my apartment, which overlooked the inside of the building, was something I liked having the ability to stand on it at night and take in the night air. Each room has a coffee maker, and both the restroom and room are huge and spotless. There are numerous eateries and convenience shops close by, and it faces a very busy road, so getting a taxi is never a hassle. If you are fed up eating Taiwanese food, there is a wonderful cafe a few doors away.

Overall, a well run hotel that is unquestionably appealing to purchasers. I picked this hotel after considering so many hotels. Ive since passed through many of them while roaming about the streets. They all take approximately 10 minutes to walk to the main stop. Apart from serving as a transport hub, the main station also offers a fantastic food court upstairs where you can sample dimsimsum and takeaway food. The Taipei I motel is conveniently located. The ximen zone, where there are a good number of eateries, can be reached on foot in just 510 minutes. We booked a triple room with a single double bed and a single single bed, but we were given a family room with two double beds and two single beds. Although the room did not have a window, which seems to be uncommon in Taipeis, I believed the additional size of the family room compensated for that. It represented an upgrade. Four pillows were provided, and the beds were firm but cozy. The room featured a large flat screen that included several English channels, including I movie channels, tea-making amenities, a mini refrigerator, and a safe. Its probably a matter of personal taste. The bathrooms and toilet are both extremely contemporary and may not appeal to everyones tastes. The foyer, on the floor, is where breakfast is. Staying at this hotel is ideal because it is close to the Taipei underground shops, its own location is within walking distance to coffee shops, a night market and a bookstore. The room is very spacious, and there is guest parking with a smoking area, a rooftop garden, and a self-service laundry room. The bed is comfortable and has a good toilet and shower.

It's close to Taipei station and Ximendent, so only the best things can do it from a strategic standpoint. No frills place but the rooms are clean and the family room is quite large. Breakfast is free but I advise you to go out for real experiences.
