Hotel Farallon is ~10km outside of Macas on a ridge overlooking the river with the Andes behind. Beautiful. And there is a terrific outdoor pool with views and to relax in after a long day of driving. The lobby is area is large and a great place to sit and relax, and the dining room serves breakfast and also dinner. We decided to have dinner in the hotel vs. head into Macas -- very relaxed, great food. Easy. The staff is helpful and friendly. Only complaint, a minor one, is the room was a bit older and dated.

On our recent trip from quench to quite, we were relieved to take a route through the oriented. Following the rio pause, the journey from quench to sucka was a wonderful adventure. We made some inquiries about hotels on the road from mamas to puto and decided that mamas would be our destination for the day. Thankfully, there were a lot of them, and we stopped at the first one. The room was big and the pool was enormous, but due to the water being a touch chilly, we were happy that they offered to run the jacuzzi and Turkish bath. My wife enjoyed the steam room while I used the jacuzzi with my daughter. Even though the evening meal was a disappointment, the morning breakfast was without a doubt the finest Ecuadorian breakfast I've ever had in my five years here. We'll plan this trip again, maybe visiting one of the other hysteria, and anticipating the same quality from these resorts.

This modest hotel was satisfactory. What do you anticipate given how expensive you are, but it is close to the Amazon? Nice pool. The restaurant provided nice food, even though the kitchen was not directly in the dining area. The service team was welcoming. We were here for two nights after traveling from Riobamba through Sanjay National Park. For the past five days, the road had been dangerous and it had been raining. Passable, but doubtful in the following hours. So, the one day we planned to explore the amazon to go river raft or hike was a no-go. Due to the rain, there were no guides available to provide these services. We made some time at the motel. clean, polite, and a lovely deck to watch the rain drop.

At hysteria fallon, we had a pleasant one-night visit. We had a suite with a to, a small refrigerator, and a communal balcony overlooking the river. The bed was really comfy. The food was fantastic. We should not forget to include yucca fries. The pool is one of the biggest I have seen in Ecuador that is not public. It was warm and you can even swim laps there if you want. It is in a peaceful place a little outside of town. The wifi was good, and the people working there were friendly. Since it's 2020, I have to point out that there is plenty of room to social distance in all the shared areas. During all interactions, the staff wore masks.

I stayed here one night after a very long journey. The space was adequate but nothing special. The bed was cozy. The shower had hot water, but the spray from the shower head was funky. No air conditioning. The ceiling fan was broken, so they gave us two floor fans, which provided good white noise and cooling us down. I would not consider this to be a vacation spot by American standards, but if you need a place to clean up and get some sleep, theyve got it. Also, we had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. Good food and service. Two cats were walking around and even jumped up on the table to clean a plate after some customers left. If you dont like cats, it's not funny.

Al momento del check-in, se demoraron en encontrar mi reservación. La hostería es un sitio bonito, lamentablemente no pude disfrutar de las facilidades de piscina, sauna, etc. porque llegué tarde y me dijeron que se podía hacerlo solo hasta las 9 p.m.; sin embargo, cuando me di una vuelta por las instalaciones, vi un letrero que decía que la apertura era hasta las 10 p.m. La comida estuvo muy rica, y el personal, amable. La habitación muy amplia, pero no era muy acogedora. Pienso que si hubiera tenido más tiempo para estar ahí, hubiera disfrutado mucho.
