Agréable séjour à l’hôtel, à deux pas de nombreux petits restaurants typiques à Hesdin, et du marché local le jeudi matin, où sont proposées début juillet des groseilles fraîchement cueillies à des prix raisonnables. Petit-déjeuner copieux avec des fruits frais, du café, du thé et même du chocolat chaud. Promenades aux alentours en empruntant des chemins bucoliques. Personnel souriant et disponible. Parking privé ombragé.

Well, I don't know where to start this really, so let me start by saying this is not a be and the picture is not representative as it is today as a new annexe has obviously been built with a covered entrance to the new annexe, which is simple furnished but clean, with very small bathroom, paper thin walls, every sound carried from outside inside, and stairs that were actually running up inside one of the wardrobes. But there is on-site parking in beautiful grounds, this isn't close to Calais and not touristy. No one speaks English which makes it fun and like going back 50 years, we struggled to find it because it wasn't anything like the picture from the road. Now, how strange, the reception is only open from 9 am to 7 pm, so we have a ferry to catch. But there is no way to pay for anything before or after that time, try arranging that when you can not speak french, but the problem was no menu, but she went off to try to find someone who can speak English. The owner arrived max, who was also very pleasant and accommodating even though very busy, and explained the choice we had. We had a starter, main course cheese and a sweet, all of which were great and excellent value for money. A coach party was on, so I assume the hotel is a bit like our locks and glen

I ate lunch at 14 euros for 2 courses, which was good value but only 3 different dishes for starter and mains and a cassette for desert. Nothing to complain about, but with La Cayenne just up the street, it wouldn't be much of a competition as La Cayenne is one of our favorite restaurants.

This is a very well run hotel. I'd recommend it to everyone. We booked a twin room, but upon arrival, they gave us two separate rooms because they didn't have twin rooms. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. I would give it a four-star rating. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious and the service was good even though there were about 120 people staying at the hotel and eating at the same time we were dining. I took a walk in the hotel garden which is really nice. This is really a country manor hotel.

Due to its proximity to Calais, we made a reservation for this. We initially believed it was closed when we came and it appeared to be a little drab and unnatural to the stunning web images. However, the customer, who can speak good English, was kind and welcomed us and directed to our accommodation. The accommodations appear to have been renovated, especially the modern bathrooms. The hotel appears to organize coach parties, seminars, and other events. And a coach packed with elderly French people arrived shortly after us. The hotel offers an evening menu that includes four courses for euros 23 with a carafe of wine, which was strangely good. Salmon smoked to start, followed by turbot, cheese, and then a cassette of three desserts. Excellent value for money. Breakfast is typically French baguettes, croissants, cold meats, cheese, etc. Allinol, a very pleasant stay with ample free parking. Maybe I'll go back one day.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and we would return, especially since the prices are so reasonable. On a retreat for the autumn weekend, we only spent one night. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the hotel's excellent public rooms and beautiful gardens gave us a good impression. We chose to eat dinner in the dining room, which we hadn't been aware of previously. The cuisine was excellent, and it appears that half the village comes here to eat, which is never a bad thing. The bedrooms themselves are quite adequate, but they are not exceptional.
