We have a long time travelling and this amazing surprise is definitely on our list of great hotel experiences. The owner and the family were very nice and friendly. The room was great, the view was beautiful, and the food was delicious. We didn't leave the hill for three days. Frankenstein is the highest castle in Germany, and you can see it in the distance from your breakfast table. Go as soon as you can!.

The setting of this hotel is on a mountain, with a stunning view of the country surrounding us and the whole place. But I got a perfect, delicious meal and taste. The room condition was clean and they were very helpful.

What a find! This hotel is at the top of a lengthy journey. The room was big, airy, and opulent, and the cuisine was of a very high standard. On arrival, it appears to be a nice hotel, but when you walk in the front door, WOW! The decor is like an elegant, upscale chalet, with lots of soft wood flooring and wall decorations. You can admire one of the finest views in the world from the outside terrace. The mountains are sloping up and down below, and the gorgeous alpine meadows are below. Awesome. The personnel was exceptional. They treat you like a valued guest in their own home, where nothing is too much trouble.

The small leaving gift was like the hotel surprising, unique, and great. This is a simple but lovely location with stunning views from almost every window and a terrace beyond compare, with views of Neuschwanstein. There is a fantastic ed restaurant on site as well as a fantastic couid-adapted breakfast buffet, both of which have excellent service. good walks and a single Tesla car charger on site. It is not a large place and is family-run, so if you're hoping for hot and cold butlers a la George I, this probably isn't the place for you. But as a unique and characterful hotel offering fabulous food in an amazing location, it's top-notch.

We stayed here with two of you me kids during a road trip through Germany and Austria this summer and it was definitely the highlight of our vacation. First off the hotel is unique, perched on a mountain top! The building is beautiful and has just been renovated. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated and the views are stunning. The dining area is also beautiful with great views. The hotel has a really nice vibe! We were greeted very nicely by the staff, who are very competent and kind. We had dinner there and the food was fantastic. We had a tasting menu and ordered an expensive bottle of German pinot and we weren't disappointed. Kids had spaghetti bolognese and it was delicious. It says a lot about a restaurant when they even make an effort to offer a kids menu. Breakfast buffet was packed with local specialties, cold cuts, cheese, home made jam, delectable dark bread and honey! The location has a magic vibe. Its more a romantic place than a family hotel, but I never felt welcome. An extraordinary experience!.
