Quiet time of year (Jan.) gave rise to dorm. solo occupation. Helpful receptionist, clean room, shower etc. Beer the right price. Second time of staying.

My experience here is limited to a few things. On Saturday afternoon, I got here. The two receptionists who were unable to speak English well, so I and my friend were very warmly welcomed. They explain everything in detail and with patience. Even though it was a weekend before Christmas, it wasnt overcrowded and the price was fair. The smallest room was found when we checked the restrooms and bedroom and it was very tidy. A very spacious place where you might meet other people! highly recommended!.

The hotel is good, and the staff is friendly. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. They dont serve breakfast, but you can use the kitchen. The room we got next to the railway line was very quiet. However, if you need a cheap room, I can suggest this hostel.

In every way, absolutely amazing! I've stayed in a ton of hostels around the world, and have visited 38 countries. In German, I spent the weekend in machen. I made the reservation for Hostel machen because it was reasonably priced and in a good location. I quickly discovered that this location is a hidden gem! The staff is exceptional, unreserved, and compassionate! Towels were given to me at no additional charge, and I was given a private room for free. There was a large window, and the room was clean and had a large window. Not just for a hostel, but also for a hotel, the showers and bathrooms were quite clean. The facilities were also well-kept. There is a lovely patio area for eating and smoking, a spacious lounge area, complete with tea, coffee, utensils, and dishes, a large, personal dining table, a small kitchen table, as well as a work desk and lounge love seats. The facilities are wonderful, but the personnel is the best part. My entire stay was completely accommodated and wanted nothing but the best. The staff is incredibly friendly. I've decided to stay an extra day. Oh, and the location is fantastic! There is a railway stop across the street, which means that trains pass by at night. Nevertheless, I had no problems falling

The hostel is cozy, and because it isn't huge, there is a welcoming and helpful community there. The location is fairly central, I rented a bike, but even by eating you can reach the city centre in 15 minutes. The room is clean and clean, even the bathroom. I didn't experience any sleep issues because the rooms are so tidy and spotless. The living room is welcoming, as is the basic kitchen, where youll find all the kitchenware and necessary dishes. The staff can advise you on facilities and city information.

Lage zur Innenstadt war gut, das Zimmer ebenso. Die Betten sind eher weich, jedoch alles vorhanden für einen relativ guten Schlaf (störend die vielen Züge nachts). Dusche und WC sind sauber und gut. Den Gemeinschaftsraum habe ich nicht genutzt und hat mich jetzt auch nicht soo überzeugt (Küche mit genutztem Geschirr etc.)

I really enjoyed my stay in Hostel Aachen thanks to exceptionally kind staff. The lady at the reception was extremely friendly and showed me on map where to go and gave me good tips on what to do in Aachen. One employee even shared his breakfast with me. Not all of the people working there speak English but I managed to communicate with them quite ok. The building is very basic but bed was comfortable. My room smelled a bit of mold and cigarette smoke probably coming through the air conditioning. I am quite sensitive and allergic but it didn't bother me so much that I would have asked to change rooms. All in all a very nice hostel.

First thing to expect at the hostel is to be welcomed with a tour of the facilities and house rules. The hostel left me a very good impression of the German standard. They wipe and vacuum every single inch of the room and facilities daily, especially the restroom. Thumbs up for the Housekeepers! And forget not Ivy, our very own Hostel Canine Ambassador!
