I arrived at this hotel expecting to be treated as a saint's heir! But the service was so awful. The boss told us to find our own table when we arrived. I wait for the drinks for half an hour and the meals for over an hour. The food was delicious and well-cooked. I will not come again.

Location a short distance from the Peenemunde pedestrian and bicycle ferry, which leaves once an hour during the day. Freest is a small fishing village and there is a grocery that sells cold beer. This is a small hotel with comfortable beds. We especially liked our little terrace the ground floor rooms are on the upper floors with small balconies. Great for drying laundry! Also in principle, there is a lawn to sit on. As others have already mentioned, the restaurant serves good fish, but there aren't many options for wine. German standard for breakfast. Service is adequate. Locked barn for bicycles.
