What a wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived until we departed at 5.30 in the morning after breakfast was provided! The restaurant is the star, offering seven days of delicious fourcourse meals with great care and attention. There is something for everyone on the wine list, and they are happy to assist you in making your decision. As part of a package with crystal ski, we stayed half board. It was unquestionably the best ski hotel weve ever stayed at.

Having stayed at Edelweiss several times over the last 25 years, it is delightful to find that it is as fresh and welcoming as ever after a two-year cough-inducing absence. The family-run hotel and its hard-working staff produce excellent food, served with joy and professionalism. To burn off the calories, you must ski hard! Even though my taste and budget for wine are simple, my more knowledgeable friends tell me that the wine list is impressive and thoughtful. The rooms and facilities are clean and comfortable, there are village amenities close by, and the hotel minibus to deliver you the short distance or pick you up from the ski lift is never more than a five-minute wait. In conclusion, I heartily endorse this wonderful hotel.

Weve just returned from a weeklong skiing trip to Cervinia and staying at the Hotel edelweiss. Were a middle-aged couple, and this was our first time skiing in the area. The hotel was immaculate, with amazing cuisine and very welcoming employees. The lift to the chairgondola functioned flawlessly, so there were no problems. We thought the Italian side of the fantastic ski area was better on the slopes, and it was intermediate skiing. We are about to schedule for another return this year, and we will undoubtedly stay at the edelweiss. We received a full area lift pass, but after we visited there, we will now use what others have advised and only buy the zermatt pass if we decide to spend a day there. A great trip and a fantastic lodging.

I traveled with a group of friends and family, and we were all very happy with the hotel in every way. The food was great, with a variety of choices, including celiac food, it was the best food I've ever had on a ski trip, especially at dinner. The staff was extremely welcoming, and the transport to the lift was very effective. The location is ideal for the village, just a short walk for apres ski, but the lounge was cozy and drinks were served with predinner snacks. The rooms were big and clean. Overall, despite being an older building, I cannot fault the hotel and would definitely go back. I would prefer this to the white angel where some of the family stayed, as the food standards were not what I had experienced a few years ago when crystal initially offered it.

We stayed for a week skiing in mid-March. We were here because one of our groups had been coming here for years. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were larger than many other alpine hotels and comfortable. Temperature was well regulated at a good level for us. The bathroom was clean with a shower, particularly helpful had a bidet. The restaurant was great. Food excellent on half board. Breakfast was good with bacon and scrambled egg or boiled egg available. Toasting bread was a fairly lengthy business, it would have been nice to have some crispy baguette. Service was excellent, especially the head. Bus service to the lifts was very useful and always available in both directions. Ski and boot room at the hotel and worked well. Spa was good and enjoyed by the girls. The bar and sitting area was great, with a nice log burner. Genetic went down well. The only criticism was the slightly higher price, but we had a fantastic time.
