Très bon acceuil, chambre spacieuse et très confortable. Salle de bain impecable avec gel douche, shampoing et sèche cheveux. Serviettes changées tous les jours. Petit-déjeuner copieux et très varié ( continental et english breakfast). Hôtel bien positionné dans un quartier avec de nombreuses trattorias et de nombreuses boutiques pour faire du shoping, près de la station de métro Municipio sur la ligne 1 qui permet d'aller visiter de nombreux endroits. Très près de la station de funiculaire centrale. Très bon séjour. Recommande vivement.

Dette må være en av de mest positive opplevelsene vi har hatt. Hotellet ligger faktisk i Galleriet, med inngang på baksiden igjennom en liten gate mellom operaen og galleriet. Når en finner døren må en gå noen runder opp for å finne resepsjonen og ingenting før den tyder på at dette er et hotell. Tips; ta med 10 euro cent slik at du kan ta heisen opp dersom du har mye bagasje. Personalet er utrolig hyggelige og hjelpsomme og rommene er helt fantastiske. Vi fikk et rom inn mot galleriet og ett ut mot gaten. Veldig fornøyd med begge rom. Rett utenfor finner man det fineste handelsområdet i Napoli og hode pizzaer på nesten hvert hjørne. Anbefaler en quattro formaggio hos Pizzeria Laezza. Frokosten var rolig å behagelig med alt en kan trenge samt fersk kaffe som man ønsker den selv. Rommene har alt man trenger inkludert kjøleskap, tv, vannkoker og en mengde produkter helt ned til sysaker. Designet er veldig flott og dusjen var særdeles god. Her skulle vi ønske vi hadde vært lengre. Håper vi får anledning til å komme tilbake.

As others may have mentioned, it certainly is harder to find the first time but so worth the adventure. What you find once you get to the hotel, the location and the wonderful staff, breakfast, help and rooms are amazing. So beautiful and clean. Rooms were exceptional. Truly night and day from where you enter street level to the hotel itself. Highly recommend staying here. The staff were incredibly helpful with cabs and breakfast for when we had early excursions. Most day trip pickup points were just a few minutes away. Bars, shopping, restaurants right outside.

A entrada do hotel por uma rua lateral assusta e o corredor que leva ao elevador assusta mais ainda, você pensa que entrou em um muquifo, Ainda mais ao ver que para subir no elevador precisa depositar 10 cents em um caixinha; Mas eis que a porta se abre e já na recepção o hotel surpreende. Novíssimo, recém reformado, tudo funcionando muito bem e de muito bom gosto. As janelas dão para dentro da Galleria Umberto, ou seja, você faz parte da paisagem. Tirando a entrada e o elevador, o resto é perfeito!!!

Contemporary, minimalist hotel with helpful staff. If you get a room with an outside window, it faces the Via Toledo which is noisy but great for people watching. Small boutique hotel with only 20 rooms on one level. Location is perfect!

Beautiful view of the Galleria. The staff was always very helpful and polite. The room was big size for Europe hotels. The day bed was a great idea. The breakfast was included and it had a variety of items, both for European and Western cuisine. The espressos were excellent! The reasons why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because my room did not have a towel warmer which I’m used to at Italian hotels. Sometimes, I do a quick wash of small items and let them dry on the towel warmer overnight. I missed the comfort. I will be prepared for next time. Location was pretty. Right in the middle of everything you need and want. I recommend taking the ferry to Capri, Positano, Sorrento, etc. it is only a 20 minute walk and the ferries are frequent.

Modernes Hotel im Zentrum Neapels. Gräumige, picobello saubere Zimmer. Hilfsbereites, sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr gutes, umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet. Einziges Manko ist die Gräuschkulisse von draussen, aber das ist wohl der Preis,den man für die zentrale Lage bezahlen muss. Mit Ohrstöpseln geht es aber.

Our family stayed 4 nights at this hotel and had an amazing experience. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was attentive. With less than 20 rooms, they were available when needed and quick to respond. I was concerned about noise from the Galleria and the hotel lobby since our room was close to it, but the room was very quiet. The breakfast was a great perk - delicious food and made-to-order coffees.

The location of Hotel Matilde is about as good as you can get as a tourist in Naples. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was about as good as you can get without having someone cook to order. There was one guest complaining excessively about the star rating, but it sounded like a whole lot of nit pickiness to me. There are some high end hotels around, but if you want super fancy, stay on the Amalfi coast and have fun with those prices. For our needs and expectations, I can’t complain about the value offered by the Hotel Matilde.
