This was our third time in Assisi, and our first time at the Hotel Umbra. We loved its central location, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, and the delicious breakfast they offer. If there was a downside, the spacious room didn’t have much of a view … but what does that matter? We spent all of our time wandering the city. We’ll certainly stay there again.

Minha experiência neste hotel foi extremamente positiva. O grande destaque é, sem dúvida, a localização. O hotel está situado no coração do centro histórico de Assis, a poucos passos da Piazza del Comune. A partir dali, é possível explorar os principais pontos turísticos a pé, o que torna a estadia ainda mais agradável. Trata-se de um hotel com instalações e mobiliário mais antigos, mas tudo é muito bem conservado, confortável e funcional. Em nenhum momento isso comprometeu a qualidade da hospedagem; pelo contrário, contribui para o charme e a atmosfera histórica da cidade. A limpeza é impecável e merece destaque. Os funcionários foram muito acolhedores e receptivos durante toda a estadia. Outro ponto alto é o café da manhã, simplesmente excelente. Muito completo, variado e com produtos frescos. Havia croissants, bolos, opções salgadas, frutas, cereais, geleias, diferentes tipos de café e diversas outras opções. As atendentes responsáveis pelo serviço do café da manhã foram especialmente atenciosas e gentis. Pela localização, limpeza, conforto e qualidade do atendimento, considero que o hotel atinge um nível de excelência. Certamente me hospedaria novamente e o recomendo a quem deseja vivenciar Assis com conforto e praticidade.

Excellent location. Multiple outdoor spaces-one quiet and shaded, and one with an incredible view of the countryside. Room was not fancy but pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Umbra. The gentleman behind the desk was amazing. He suggested several places to eat that we enjoyed. The night before our departure he assisted us with booking a taxi for the ride to the train station. If you are planning visiting Assisi stay at Hotel Umbra.

A wonderful property with an unbeatable location right in the city center of Assisi. Parking in the Majora lot convenient, has some escalators to help with the climb up to the city with luggage. Property was completely charming, rooms very comfortable and has many outdoor spaces including a lovely rooftop with a great view for relaxing. Staff kind and helpful. Breakfast was great and included with the room.

Everything was just right for me, from the room with a view, to the breakfast buffet, to the friendly and helpful personnel. I enjoyed my stay very much and would consider returning to the property on my next trip to Assisi. It is also very nice that the property is very close to the Piazza Comune, the center of town, and close to many of the important churches in Assisi as well as to good restaurants within walking distance.

I cant wait to go back! I loved every minute of my stay there. I was treated like family. Carlo and Ana , I miss you guys!
