The location was good, and the personnel were really friendly. And then, the breakfast was great. Besides that, the cleanliness of this hotel was great with its nice pool area and the restaurant here was excellent too.

We went to La Bussola with my wife and our two children at the end of July 2022, and it was one week with them. Based on TripAdvisor reviews, my son decided to stay at this hotel. I have to say that La Bussola exceeded all of our expectations. First of all, it is overwhelming and most notably true how kind the staff members, including cleaning ladies, waiters, receptionists, and chauffeurs, are all to their advantage. Even the proprietor, an aging and beautiful man, walks among the visitors to inquire about their wellbeing. They can accomplish no request too small or too great. For example, when I ran out of glucose meters batteries, the receptionist gave me new ones from trope within hours. La Bussola provided me with a free ride when I needed a vehicle to a rental car. The restaurant food is superb. It is a sushi restaurant, but it also provides a wide selection of beef and pasta, which was a pleasant surprise because I do not consume sushi. Every day, the rooms are thoroughly cleaned. A gorgeous view of the west from our balcony, which had stromboli in the distance, was a dazzling panorama of the city. A mediumsized, wellstocked supermarket is also accessible on 600 I of the hotel if you prefer to walk. Everyone who enjoys perfection in a serene setting is firmly encouraged to visit La

We had a great time. The hotel was tidy, and the service was always kind. The italians seemed to enjoy the half-board option because there are only a few restaurants nearby. Given the amount we had spent on it, it ended up being a great option because there were only a few restaurants close by and the food was excellent. You could pick from a standard menu two starters typically pasta, two main courses one fish, one meat, and four distinct side dishes for dinner, and everyone enjoyed the same dessert. The hotel provided vegetarian alternatives for halfboard customers, but the vegetarian choices were not on the daily menu. Being a middle-class hotel in Italy, the breakfast was excellent because there was a good selection of food also for us who didn't just eat cakes for breakfast. For lunch, we also ate sushi, which was delicious and very fresh. Although the hotel offers a decent-sized supermarket about 700 I away, a smaller shop on the opposite side of the road may sell drinks and snacks. It was not an additional charge that the hotel provided a shuttle minibus to the beach and the railway station, and the journey to Trope was 20 euros per person in July 2022. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would suggest the motel to friends and family who like to vacation on the rural countryside.

Where do I begin? I felt as though I was home again from the moment we entered the door. You will always be greeted by every individual. The fantastic crew goes above and beyond to make sure every aspect of your stay is ideal. You can tell that their kindness is sincere and that they are all proud of what they do. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best time possible. Their generosity was overwhelming. The proprietor, Peppino, is a charming gentleman with a twinkle in his eye who treats everyone like family, with his four handsome sons and his lovely wife! The restaurant is stunning, and the sushi is outstanding. They also offer delicious pasta dishes, beef, and seafood. You never leave disappointed, rather, looking forward to your next dinner. Our rooms were spotless and comfortable. The housekeeping was excellent. The entire property is lovely and wellkept. The views from our room and the sunsets were spectacular, especially watching the volcano erupting on isla tombola! We spent many evenings relaxing at the lovely pool, and there is also a shuttle to the beach. The Capo vatican has a lot to offer. There are a lot of activities to take in, so you wont be let down when you stay at La Bussola, and, like us, you will want to return often. La Bussola will exceed your expectations,

Thank you for a wonderful stay and wonderful memories. We were greeted by Rosa, our driver who had planned for pickup at the airport. He was kind and courteous. We were then greeted with a drink and information. Our accommodation was perfect, with a breathtaking view of the ocean. We reserved half board, and breakfast was plentiful and fresh. The servers, particularly Nicolas, were always pleasant. Dinner was excellent, and the service was once more excellent. We adored the pool and afternoon cocktails prepared elegantly by Santos. This motel is immaculate, and the staff puts in a lot of effort to keep it that way. Valentina I, the receptionist, is lovely and gave excellent advice on everything we requested. We utilized the shuttle to the beach and roped with driver Memo dominic, who was also replete in information and a lovely man.

About La Bussola

This family-friendly beach hotel, managed by the Giuliano family since 1973, is located just 500 meters from San Nicolò's town center and a short stroll from the sea at Cape Vatican in Ricadi. Tropea is about 6 kilometers away. The fully renovated hotel offers 32 comfortable rooms (26 in the main building and 6 in an annex), a lobby, restaurant, bar, TV lounge, and three conference rooms. Guests can relax in the large garden filled with flowers, fruit trees, and various palm trees. Each room features a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, safety deposit box, mini-refrigerator, and individually controlled air conditioning. The private bathrooms include a shower, bathtub, and hairdryer. All rooms open onto a private balcony or terrace.
