Papali exceeded our expectations. Our host Carmelo provided excellent and enthusiastic guidance to all that is Catania. A highlight of our stay included the ample morning breakfasts that featured typical regional pastries, both sweet and savoury. Our comfortable and quiet room proved a welcome and restful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Highly recommend!

The room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious, especially for the price, Carmello was a fantastic host, being welcoming and friendly and providing a good hearty breakfast and tips for the city. He doesn't speak much English, but I know enough Italian that we were able to communicate fine. I would stay here again.

The hotel was located in a busy area of the city. Finding parking was difficult unless you are willing to park about 10 minutes away. The hotel host was nice and provided us with early check-in. The room was large enough with a balcony overlooking the back street. Bathroom was decent. Breakfast was hearty. Tons of restaurants nearby, and within walking distance to the historical area. Airport bus stop was close by as well. A good stay!

Very kind owner who made sure our stay to be the best. He made us cappuccino every morning with new baked croissant. The rooom had 1 big bed and two singles bed in, for our teenages, located in seperate rooms. They cleaned our room everyday but didnt change the towels. But I think if we asked abou it, they would have change it for us. The accommodation is located near to everything.

Che dire..come andare in vacanza a casa di un amico...che sa darti consigli preziosi per dove andare e dove mangiare...e credetemi non è poca cosa....siamo stati d'incanto location meravigliosa in pieno centro...pulizia....eccellente....e cortesia familiare.....un accoglienza...che potremmo definire 'attenzionata'....lo consiglio spassionatamente per conoscere ed apprezzare Catania....Carmelo un padrone di casa senza rivali....e magari torneremo anche molto volentieri ..

Siamo appena rientrati dopo 6 giorni di permanenza in questa struttura. Posizione centrale a due passi dai giardini Bellini, dalla miglior pasticceria Savia proseguendo si arriva in piazza Duomo. Struttura nuova, pulita e colazione ottima grazie al titolare Carmelo che di adopera per soddisfare tutti i gusti. Si raggiunte dall’aeroporto con navetta Alibus che ferma di fronte all’entrata. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

Recommended - Excellent central location yet quiet with no street noise. Clean, well kept rooms. Owner is helpful (Italian speaking only) and provides a full breakfast. Very useful is directly opposite bus to airport but finding parking can be difficult. Recommend nearby Ideal parking garage for €20/night.

Meget hjælpsom vært som hjalp os frem til parkering. Trafikken og parkering i Catania er meget dårlig. Det kan ikke anbefales at tage bil med ind i byen. Papali ligger godt og er pænt nyistandsat.

This is a b&b, no clear access to property, walk up 3-4 flights of stairs to business card over bell, waited 20 minutes in scary stairwell for host. Went to get something to eat and on return the first key is street entry, second key is apartment entry and the third key is the one that didn’t work for entry to the room. Waited 20 min
