Hotel was perfect for our 4 days in Rome. Easy check-in and check-out. Great location, everything was within walking distance. Staff were very helpful with clear communication starting prior to check-in. Hotel and room were very clean and comfortable. It was quiet at the time we were there but if it is busy you may be able to hear a bit of noise in the hallway or the room next door. All around great experience. Thank you Velia Relais staff!

Nice little hotel about 10 minute walk from Termini. Friendly and helpful staff, clean. Note that (like many small hotels in Rome) it is tucked on the top floor of a building and is easy to find once you’ve been there but can be a little hard to find at first — make sure to pay attention to the check in instructions and the WhatsApp they will send you for how to get in! I was a little worried because of this it was not staffed but there are friendly front desk staff who will answer during business hours and can help you find the place also :)

My stay in Velia Relais was honestly great for my first visit to Rome. The staff member I worked with was particularly helpful with checking in, with clear explanations about everything and how to access the building. The room I booked (Economy Double Room Single Use) was great, especially as a solo traveler. The bed was comfortable, the room and restroom were clean when I arrived, and I appreciated the coffee machine. I would highly recommend Velia Relais.

I loved this hotel! It was one of several inside a building in Rome, and it was on the top floor (there is an elevator that fits two people). Our window faced a small courtyard and when I say it was quiet, I mean we closed the door to our room and it was silent. Perfect for curing jet lag. We stayed for 4 nights and had no problems. They even refilled a bottle of cold water for us each day so we had a freshly hydrated start. I felt very good about the bed and bathroom setup. There were places to set our open suitcases, though admittedly we had only carryon-sized luggage. My only knock against the hotel isn’t even that bad. The recommendations for services from the hotel were not great. We followed 3 of their recommendations and only one of them was good, but we could have found Regoli on our own since it’s TikTok famous. Overall it was a wonderful experience and a great first hotel for our 2 week trip.

We loved it here! Safe and clean. Definitely recommend. Feels like the true Italian experience. Super close walk to Monti- great restaurants and shopping nearby. All the sights are a walkable distance away. The hotel staff arranged our airport drop off seamlessly which made everything much easier!

1) tiene ascensor y funciona oerfecto , chico 2 personas o 1 con valijas y carry on . Hay 3 o 4 escalones previos pero no resultan un problema . Con relato y fotos el chat gpt me contó esto muy interesante del edificio que explica perfectamente lo que uno ve al ingresar 🏛️ Qué era exactamente ese tipo de edificio en esa calle Cuando se crea Via Nazionale: * Se construyen: * viviendas para la nueva burguesía estatal * edificios para funcionarios * hoteles para visitantes políticos y diplomáticos 💡 no eran edificios individuales aislados, No aparece como palacio histórico con nombre propio (eso ya es una pista fuerte). ✔ No era residencia aristocrática famosa ✔ No era edificio oficial del Estado ✔ Era un “palazzo d’affitto” (casa de renta de alto nivel) 🔹 “Palazzo de renta umbertino” Un edificio diseñado para: * múltiples familias de nivel medio-alto * alquiler a profesionales del Estado * posible uso mixto (vivienda + oficinas 🔍 explicado históricament, es diseño típico: 1. Portón grande + androne 👉 Acceso “de representación” para carruajes 👉 Señal de edificio de categoría 2. Doble circulación (escaleras laterales) 👉 Separación social: * residentes principales * servicio * alquileres 3. Cortile con fuente 👉 Elemento clave de prestigio 👉 Mejora de ventilación + estética 4. Piso alto con gran puerta (tu hotel) 👉 Originalmente un solo apartamento grande hoy subdividido en habitaciones (hotel boutique)

We stayed one night, before our flight. This was a great place to stay, close to the train station. We were able to walk to many of the surrounding sights. All the staff members were very nice. Would stay here again.

The staff were great, ideally located and I was very happy with my room. The building itself was very interesting and as soon as you went through those big wooden doors, you could feel the hush and quiet after being on a busy street. I would stay again.

Very clean and spacious room with a nice espresso machine too. The location was great, with very good restaurants, shops and a grocery store nearby. The area felt very safe and is walkable to all the spots you want to see.
