We spent two nights at Villa Malavolta and thought it was an excellent experience. Bus 11, 36, or 37 ride the property about 10 minutes from the town's center and about 15 minutes from son's railway station. Because buses run very frequently, we never had to wait more than a few minutes. When we returned home late at night, we took cabs to the location. Our accommodation was upstairs, with a view of the property's front, but there was a very large balcony facing the city on the side. A fantastic spot for my late-night cigar and glass of chiang. The bathroom was spacious by european standards, and the room was tidy and quiet. The proprietor, Donalla, is a source of insight if you're uncertain about where to visit in Florence. She provided us with a program when we just informed her of how much time we had available. We spent more time eating meals than the normal tourist because our son is a chef in the area who had a few days off to visit. Fruit, bread, jams, cake, meats, cheeses, and outstanding coffee were all plentiful for breakfast. As was stated in other reviews, the dinner is served in the home's oldest room, dating from the last century. Since the proprietor is an accomplished sculptor and artist, the home is a bit like an art gallery in and of itself. Her

I was very fortunate to find this accommodation close to a bus station, yet far from the center of Florence.

In the beautiful old house from 1478, we spent 3 nights. Donatella, the hostess, was really helpful in providing us with information on bus routes and attractions. Breakfast was served at a large table, where we enjoyed conversing with other guests.

During our trip to Florentine, we spent one night at this location. It's approximately 15 by road, this is a wonderful villa. However, it is not very close to the city. We arrived early in the morning. We were able to do early checking to rest. It is a vintage villa. A former couple resides here and runs it. Breakfast wasn't great. The toaster had some issues. The coffee was also not hot. There was a lack of privacy in the rooms. At times, the owner could have been more polite. We weren't staying here for free, so this daily rate wasn't cheap either. They offered us early checking, so I wouldn't be taking advantage of our previous encounters.

We have stayed in historic Florence twice before, and this time we are traveling in a car, so we made a search for another place outside of the city. That internet search brought us to the historic villa Malavolta, and the effusive reviews from those who have been here before bow, all spoon, prompted the reservation. As stated in the reviews, it was a bit challenging to find it by car, and the website directions could use some work. From the friendly and helpful welcome by son, van, when we arrived, to the same friendly and helpful interaction with donatella Sergio throughout, we made us feel at home. Our room was beautiful, roomy, and comfortably quiet, and we were tired every day. The outside library study area was a great place to unwind and connect to the internet. The breakfast was amazing, and the breakfast was adequate. This stay and visit to Florence were enhanced by the bus ride inside and outside of town. The dinner at Pizzeria Pippistrello was the reward for the heavily packed bus ride back. All of the experiences we had while staying at Villa Malavolta were incredible and very positive, and we look forward to coming back.
