Had a wonderful stay. Rooms were clean and enough space for things. High quality amenities including latest model hairdryers and shower heads from Refa. Will be purchasing them when I get home. The staff were accommodating last minute request for an early check in, which helped make our trip even better, as we could settle in first, instead of needing to come back half way through to formally check in later in the afternoon. Would be going back for sure. Recommend for anyone who is looking for good service high quality amenities at a fair price, really good value for anyone staying in Kyoto. Convenient location.

It's really uniquely located and has really great facilities and great staff, going above and beyond during that stay. We had a whole incident with my daughter'sphone being left behind in a car and a couple of staff members helped us locate the phone in a taxi room.

The property is extremely beautiful, the amenities, especially the onsen bath were amazing and the rooms were spacious, clean and thoughtfully designed. The breakfast and lunch were delicious and the bar staff were relatively attentive. The front staff were helpful and attentive. If you need to do laundry they do have public coin laundry but it is always very busy so you may be waiting a very long time. We wish we would’ve upgraded our room with laundry included as we ended up having to go to a laundromat down the street (in the rain).

Very clean and the staff were very professional and inviting. Private onsen was fantastic. Room was spacious, clean, and modern. Loved that all lights were controlled by a center console. Definitely a must stay when you are in Kyoto. It was also walking distance to the markets.
