We absolutely loved our stay at Casa del Jaguar! The location is perfect—right on beautiful Playa Norte, with easy access to everything while still feeling like a relaxing escape. The included beach club access and daybeds were such a great perk and made our beach days even better. The staff was amazing from start to finish—so welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our entire stay. We also rented a golf cart directly through the hotel, and the whole process was incredibly easy and convenient. The beach club food was delicious, and I have to give a special shoutout to the spicy watermelon margarita—it was hands down the best one I’ve ever had! For this trip, we had planned to stay at Casa del Jaguar first and then finish our vacation at an all-inclusive resort in Cancun. But after leaving Isla Mujeres and checking into the all-inclusive, we realized just how much we missed Casa del Jaguar—so much so that we actually went back! That probably says more than anything else about how much we loved our stay. We are already planning our next trip back in February and can’t wait to return. Casa del Jaguar has officially become one of our favorite places, and we would recommend it without hesitation! 🌴🍉🍹

It was a really nice property. Always kept clean, very nice and helpful staff from front desk to waitstaff to cleaning staff and maintenance. Beach was beautiful with reserved beach beds for guests. We also enjoyed the food in the restaurant, especially the ceviche. We would stay there again.

This was a real oasis! There was such attention to detail - even the garden pathways were meticulously cured daily and lined with beautiful conch shells. Breakfast was abundant and made fresh upon order. We were provided with plenty of fresh drinking water and ice. The staff were excellent! The beach was not exclusively private. The lounge chairs were shared with another hotel and the beach was literally “invaded” with tourist boats (43 just past the buoy). Also the music from the beach club next door was obnoxiously loud! Fortunately the pool was private so that saved the day!

Clean room, furniture in good condition, and fresh clean modern shower. Mattress is firm, I slept great. We booked for the beach and free day club beds on playa norte was ideal! We would stay here again. The staff was very helpful and we booked our golf cart through the front desk for easy pick up and return. Easy walking distance to all the gourmet Resturants on hildago and breakfast spots! They dont have the bfast buffet with open bar breakfast like Aluxes.

The hotel is very relaxing and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast in the morning was perfect to get you going with a view of the ocean as well. There’s even a pool that allows for some relaxation and escape from the sun. A perfect retreat, which still allows you to explore the village.

Beautiful boutique style hotel right on Playa Norte. Clean, spacious and quiet rooms. Lovely breakfast and beach club with impeccable service, food and drinks. A wonderful home base for Island Music Fest.

Let me start by saying. I’m fortunate to have traveled the Caribbean often. I’ve been to Mexico many times over the last 20+ years and Isla Mujeres several times. I’ve stayed in everything from 5 star all inclusive to some down right outdated DIY hotels. Casa Del Jaguar didn’t miss. From the reception to departure everything was handled perfectly. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful through out our stay. Sonny (spelling) our waiter on the beach every day was on top of everything. We never went thirsty or hungry and although busy, he still had time to converse and answer questions about the area. The beach is conveniently located and beautiful. The infinity pool is situated so that it has a great view, it’s clean and very refreshing. One room had a minor AC issue and it was handled within minutes. One day we had some sargasm blow in on the beach (Mexico is horrible with it right now) and they had a crew of 40ish people rake, and wheelbarrow it all away before 8:30am. I can’t say enough about this place or the staff. If I had one thing I would make someone aware about is that breakfast, while great food, it takes a while. If you’re laid back and in vacation mode, it’s not an issue at all. If you’re in a hurry to get somewhere, you may want to grab something on the go.

The hotel is a quiet, gem located in the chaos that is Playa Norte. The hotel staff was attentive and friendly. The ocean front pool was perfect for people watching and not having to reserve beach loungers was a huge plus. We are looking forward to our next stay.
