My sister and I recently stayed at Catalonia, and we had such a wonderful experience. From the moment you walk into the lobby, you immediately feel welcomed. Every member of the staff is incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to help with anything you need. The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and spotless. One thing that really stood out to us was how clean everything was. You constantly see staff cleaning the rooms, hallways, and common areas, which shows how much they care about maintaining the property. I especially want to recognize Quetzabel, one of the hostess at the pool restaurant. She is an amazing woman with such warmth and genuine kindness. Her attention to every guest was outstanding, and she truly made us feel special. I also want to thank Eddy from the entertainment team. He made our stay so much more fun with his energy, talent, and positive attitude. He is incredibly talented and has a big heart. The food and drinks were delicious, and every meal was something we looked forward to. Overall, our stay exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely return. Thank you to everyone at Catalonia for making our vacation so memorable!

Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estancia, la. Información de la página es sumamente funcional y practica para ver horarios de actividades y restaurantes. La comida muy rica en especial disfrutamos mucho el restaurante BeLove, el menú es exquisito para desayunar, comer o cenar. Todo el personal fue muy amable y atento siempre con gran disposición y servicio. Nos dieron muchas facilidades para la llegada y la salida, esperamos regresar pronto.

The staff was really nice, they would check up on you and were really friendly. We went mid June and it was a really bad seaweed season, but there were workers working daily cleaning up the seaweed to make the beach accessible. The rooms were clean and pool towels were exchanged nightly. The property itself was a lot smaller than expected, there was one walkway connecting all the buildings to the pool and beach. Food wise there was one buffet serving breakfast and lunch, and for dinner you had to make reservations (Mexican, Italian, Asian, or a Steakhouse). And a snack bar for lunch next to the members only seafood restaurant. There weren’t any tennis/ pickle ball courts but they had a ping pong table, and a gym/ spa which comes at an additional cost. The membership people were pretty ruthless in trying to get you to sign up so be aware incase you are not interested to begin with. They take you to a breakfast/ lunch and take up half the day trying to convince you to sign up even if you are adamant from the start. But unfortunately that is their job and not different than other resorts. The activities people were really energetic and had plenty of games / activities throughout the day. Overall great experience, but I wouldn’t say its exceptionally better than other resorts.

Comfy beds, perfect temperature in the rooms~ we just had just the basic room and it was great! Loved the balcony in the room as it overlooked a secluded little area of fauna- often watched wildlife from our view. The pool was delicious! Food was good too for the most part. Farther from town than we expected but found the local van transport into town for cheap- would recommend this place to stay.

The staff, especially at the buffet, was amazing and so helpful. I have food allergies and they were so wonderful in letting me know what I could eat and even requesting special food for me!! The staff in the spa were also so incredible and helped make my experience so relaxing. My room was comfortable and always clean, and I appreciate the details every day given to the room and its cleanliness. The shower was absolutely the most wonderful part, large and enjoyable. The scenery, wildlife, staff, and beauty of this place ensured that I will return to the Catalonia!

Great trip! The resort was very clean & the staff was VERY helpful & sooooo nice!!! The entertainment staff makes a point to speak to everyone I think. The food was great! I want to point out the buffet. We all know buffet food is usually not the greatest but theirs was delicious! I Highly recommend this resort!

Property and staff were amazing. Food at the evening restaurants was average for all-inclusive resorts. The beach was covered with seaweed grass which was Mother Nature. They work tirelessly trying to keep it clear but it was overwhelming for them. Had we been made aware we may have chosen a different time or location as the beach was an important part of our stay. Over all a great stay and experience!

I loved all the restaurants I ate at four of them. Had a massage, booked excursions in the lobby area, was able to exchange my US currency to pesos in the lobby. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet, swim up pool bar and loved the natural setting.The staff was helpful and friendly
