We had a great stay at this resort in Cancun. The property is beautiful, with a charming colonial-style design and a very relaxing atmosphere. There are plenty of activities throughout the day, so there's always something to do. The food quality is good for an all-inclusive resort, with a nice variety of options. There are also plenty of bars throughout the property, and drinks are readily available. I highly recommend upgrading to the Excellence Club, as it gives you access to better premium drinks, additional amenities, and two exclusive restaurants that are definitely worth it. The only downside was the beach, which had a significant amount of seaweed during our stay. However, this appears to be seasonal and is not something the resort can fully control. Overall, we enjoyed our vacation and would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing all-inclusive experience in Cancun.

Exceptional Stay at Excellence Riviera!! Our stay at Excellence Riviera Cancun was truly outstanding. The resort is beautifully maintained, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the staff consistently went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was exceptional throughout the resort, but a few venues stood out in particular. “Chez Isabelle” offered an outstanding fine-dining experience for dinner, while “The Lobster House” was fantastic for both lunch and dinner, serving fresh and delicious seafood in a beautiful setting. “Las Olas” became one of our favourite spots for casual snacks and light meals by the beach. We also loved “Aroma”- our favourite coffee & pastry & best ice cream place to go. The pools were fantastic, providing plenty of space to relax, and the grounds were lush, peaceful, and impeccably cared for. The overall atmosphere was elegant, relaxing, and perfect for a couples’ getaway. One important note for future travellers: if swimming in the ocean is a priority, void March-October seaweed season. Excellence Riviera Cancun exceeded our expectations in every other way with its exceptional dining, beautiful pools, well-maintained grounds, and outstanding service. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing all-inclusive vacation in Cancun. 🌴☀️🍹✨ Cheers ☀️

We loved everything about the resort. It was beautiful. It was clean. The service was excellent. There was a ton of amenities. It never felt busy. Restaurants were easy to get into and the food was great. The only bummer was the ocean and beach, but that’s not the resort’s fault!

Prior to booking I had issues with getting conflicting payments for ocean front room as I had been recovering from cancer and cannot walk too far to the beach. I talk to the manager once I got there and I was sad because they would not answer their phone prior to the trip and I would always go to voicemai the manager fixed everything for me and checked on me every day and make sure my trip was flawless. I feel so rested and recovered thanks to the empathy of the manager Magali. She made sure she contacted me every day to make sure everything was OK and even saw me when I left to go back to Dallas. The hotel is so clean and beautiful and lots to do the ocean was great the cabana was my best part and the food was amazing at every restaurant that we tried. The staff was amazing as well. Best Trip I've ever taken
