We recently stayed at the Paradisus Playa del Carmen and loved every minute! Having visited many Mexican resorts, I can confidently say this is the best one yet—we were already planning our return before we even checked out. The service is top-tier. We felt pampered and special thanks to the incredibly friendly staff. A special shout-out to the 24/7 Nespresso shop team, especially Oriel, for the best coffee and treats. We also loved the thoughtful details, like poolside mangoes on a stick and local sweets around the resort. We celebrated my mother-in-law’s birthday, and the staff ensured it was perfect. From surprise gifts in her room to an incredible birthday dinner at Cielo—thanks to our wonderful server, Fernando—the experience was flawless. A huge thank you to Angelo, the concierge, for making her day so memorable. The animation and kids’ club teams were the highlight of our trip. Our children were constantly engaged with fun, creative activities like face painting, crafts, and games. They loved it so much they begged to go! Thank you to everyone at the resort for your hard work. You truly created an unforgettable family experience!

We traveled for pleasure as a family of 3, 2 adults and an 11 y/o. The amenities are beautiful. The food was also good, breakfast and Italian restaurant 10/10. Close to the xcaret parks and we were able to move to Chichen Itza and Isla Mujeres. There is a lot to do for younger kids in the hotel. Ice cream bar open since the morning, something my 11y/o definitely enjoyed. Popsicles also available and were really good. Everything was clean and we didn’t get sick. We had the best time at Paradisus, definitely recommended.

Most of the restaurants are outside so bring a lot of shorts for guys and dresses for women. Was hot and humid but enjoyable. We vacation a lot and this place is so nice. The staff and family activities are really fun for the kids. Great drinks and ice cream.

Our vacation was absolutely wonderful, and the first thing I have to say is that Family Concierge is 100% worth it. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel truly special. One thing we really appreciated was that there were always enough pool chairs for everyone, which is something that can be a challenge at many all-inclusive resorts. Every day there were fun activities for the kids, and every evening the whole family could enjoy great entertainment and shows. The cenotes excursion was spectacular and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The food was delicious throughout the resort, especially at Cappella, which quickly became our favorite restaurant. A very special thank you to Emmanuel, who was truly an angel during our stay. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. On top of that, we received thoughtful gifts every single day, which made our experience even more memorable. Our son had the best vacation and enjoyed every minute of it. We also received special treatment because we booked through Expedia, which was a wonderful surprise. I highly recommend this resort for families traveling with children. That said, if you’re looking for a peaceful adults-only getaway, the resort also offers an exclusive adults-only section, making it a great option for every type of traveler. We would definitely come back!

Check in process was super slow. Can be improved. Resort is super lux and clean. Staff are overall very polite and helpful. Kids club did not have much for kids ages 9-12. There was one day with power outage but was fixed immediately. Would definitely consider coming back! Definitely a paradise!

My family, friends and 3 kids ( ages 2,9,and 10) just came back from this beautiful resort. The resort is spotless, and the unlimited-luxury concept truly gives you a vacation feeling. What i loved about this resort is that it caters to kids.The architecture is breathtaking, and the included access to their 2 water parks was the highlight of our vacation. The family pool area is fantastic, and the kids loved the swim-up snack bar. The restaurants. The food was exceptional for an all-inclusive and the services at the restaurants was welcoming. Huge shoutout to the resident manager Valentina who was a angel. We had a minor issue with the check in progress and Valentina stepped in immediately and ensuring our stay was perfect.Valentina's dedication to guest satisfaction is unmatched. She checked in on us everyday to make sure we were taken care of and enjoying our vacation. The restaurants and bars were impeccably managed, with top-tier food and drinks always available. The entire all-inclusive experience was elevated because of their hands-on approach and hospitality. We are already planning our return! All i can say is that the resort is so lucky to have Valentina :)

Nestor for the family concereige was amazingggg! He added us on WhatsApp and just helped us with everything every single day! Booked us all the restaurants and was surprised the kids everyday with different surprises in our room every day! Pools are amazing too and super clean.

This resort is amazing! The rooms, the staff, the restaurants, the food and how it's cooked, the service in general... it's all exceptional! We had an amazing time at Paradisus. The level of service you experience at Paradisus you won’t experience it any where else. In case you have any doubts just do yourself a favor visit another resort and then come back to Paradisus and you will know the difference. I will like to give a special shout out to Gabriella Mora our Guest service rep, she was amazing. We were upset about something and reported it and then Gabriella Mora reached out to us and handled the situation with a smile and a word that you will hear a lot at Paradisus “MY PLEASURE”and from that point on she made us her priority. She would do daily check-ins with us on watsapp to check how are we doing and how is our stay and this just changed the whole experience at Paradisus. Overall their service overshadows the little things like the resort is due for some renovation in some areas but I will not let that overshadow the people the backbone of this resort who contribute immensely to make our vacation memorable. Whenever you are there just ask for Gabriella Mora and you will thank me later. Overall it’s a great family and kids friendly resort.

We just returned from an incredible 8-night stay at this resort, and it is easily one of the best we have experienced. The dining was fantastic; the buffet selection was particularly impressive, actually surpassing the quality of several a la carte restaurants. The staff was exceptional, ensuring our drinks were always refilled and providing top-tier service throughout our stay. Our room was kept immaculately clean by housekeeping, and the pool areas were well-maintained and enjoyable. While there was some sargassum on the beach, we understand that is out of the resort's control and didn't detract from our overall satisfaction. We already look forward to returning in the near future. If you are on the fence about booking this resort, definitely go for it—we are so glad we did!

We had family concierge which was very helpful in booking the restaurants. Rooms were clean. AC however was very cold in part of the room. We had them check it out but they but there was nothing they can do even when the ac is totally off. They gave us extra blankets which was fine. The food had a great variety and was good. Facility overall was well kept. Would recommend and go back

The experience at the hotel was wonderful. From the very beginning, we received exceptional service, with special mention to Carlos de La Cruz and José Luiz Ortiz, who provided all the support and assistance needed to make our stay even more special. The gastronomic experiences were excellent, both for the facility of booking our favorite restaurants and for the quality of what was offered to us. The hotel is ideal for families with children. My kids loved the water park and we spent a lot of time there. The private areas dedicated to the "Family Concierge" are excellent, and the conveniences such as having breakfast at the exclusive Lounge restaurant made a big difference for us in terms of quality and comfort. I highly recommend the resort. The accommodation surprised us positively, and we will definitely return as soon as possible.

Es un lindo hotel, la comida muy buena, el staff muy amigable, obtuvimos un upgrade a Family Concierge y la verdad que espectacular, nuestra Concierge Tiara Garcia lo máximo!!! Consintió a mis hijas de una manera espectacular y nos ayudo en todo. Lo negativo creo que el hotel necesita más atención, en las áreas comunes se mantiene sucio con vasos y envases por todos lados, debería de haber alguien recogiendo constantemente y los basureros llenos de basura lo que atrae muchos animales. Al llegar nos pusieron a hacer online check-in y un caos, no se podía meter la información y en eso perdimos unos 45 min, debería ser algo opcional, si uno no lo hace cuando se lo mandan por correo pues hacer el check in normal en persona.
