We have been to Sands Playacar several times and have always enjoyed our visit. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating, but we want to also mention our housekeeper lucia. She was always so friendly, smiling and did a great job in our room every day, always leaving special touches for us. We are in the Adult section, building 2, on the ground floor. The resort is good if you arrive early. The lobby is pleasant and inviting. I had to wait for my room since I arrived early. It is unfortunate that they lack a wait center like some hotels with showers and air conditioning so you can change and much more while you wait for your room. I was able to eat before my room was ready. When I arrived at the room just before 3 am, I noticed it was old and there was no wifi in the rooms. So, they can certainly do better on that front. I had a nice view on the adults only side which wasnt really just adults because kids were walking by all the time. The pool was nice but could use a swim up bar just saying. Heads up, there are loose monkeys on the property I didnt learn this until day two when I went out for breakfast. I wasnt a fan of that, but other guests seemed to like it. You must make reservations for dinner, but they are never available. My friend was able to make a reservation and I noticed once we arrived it was pretty empty, so I'm not sure why they don't have enough places when the restaurants are not really filling up. Also, the food was good and they need to offer more options on the room service menu, who is ordering a salmon bagel at 2 am? These are drunk hours, let me tell you, I have never crave

We were just returning from a three-week trip in October. After couid, things are slowly getting back to normal. More food was prepared than in the previous two years. At the adults pool, the service has substantially improved. Each time Ramon and City contacted us, they pumped us up with tasty beverages and sweet grins. These two should remain there rather than be taken away to the beach. It was lovely to see that the lounges were back at this pool without having to wring about having them there. Now, simply move away from those enormously low tent structures and igloos and bring back the cabana beds. Anyone over the age of 50 should remain in tents, and the igloos keep the heat in and can become stifling as the day goes on. She is a true gem. The two best servers we have encountered during our trip, including Marina at the primary buffet and Samuel at the beach, are still excellent. The rest of the employees should be taught. I hope he was missed. On our final day at the resort, Says returned from his honeymoon. When so many people showed up when they saw he was back, it was obvious how much everyone appreciated him. He should be the manager of marketing or media relations. The shoreline was extremely spotless. The effort that goes into maintaining it that way should be commended for

The hotel is still quite old but they keep doing their best. They are really friendly and helpful! Alexandra was so kind to visit. She spoke English very well which was helpful to us! The food was so good! It's hard to get a reservation, but it turned out. The trolleys were always full and it takes a while to pick up.
