Barb & Geoff made us feel like family. After we booked, Barb offered to provide a home cooked meal including wine. Barb has experience cooking all over the world, and the meal and wine reflected this. Our room was large with a large attached bathroom. Lovely yard and gardens surround the house.

Barb and Geoff were fantastic hosts as we felt at home in their B&B. Eggs from their chickens, honey from their bees, & homemade bread were delights of the hearty breakfast. We dined with Barb & Geoff and they served up local fare and wine that was as delightful as their company. They were knowledgeable and well connected in the area so we felt like we got the local scoop on wines. A highlight of our New Zealand vacation!

If I could write a review, but for your convenience, I would give a 5-out of-5 rating after reviewing previous reviews. The only further advice I can offer is to make sure you take their reasonable dinner offer. Except there isn't a place in Waipara to eat, the local wineries only serve lunch, the food is excellent, and the enjoyment of eating dinner with the hosts is even better. Before we visit Waipara, we will stay at barbs.

They recommend them for couples that want something a little unique. They are wonderful hosts, as was Barb Geoff. They provide fantastic, fresh, natural food during your stay because they are as educated as they can. You can tell that they love having visitors stay with them because they cultivate their own land as much as they can. They served us smoked chicken on the bbd, baked vegetables, and salad for dinner, and made a dessert with homemade ice cream. The bedrooms are quite comfy, and they all have immaculate bathrooms. The region has a wealth of stunning vineyards, while they are smaller than other regions in no. However, every one of the cellar doors we visited was welcoming and welcoming. For couples who desire something a little different from the norm, I heartily recommend them.

The best place we have ever stayed. Barb is a lovely and wonderful host who is an expert in waipara cuisine, wine, and people. The owner is a great chef who has prepared a delicious supper for us. A lovely and well-appointed spacious room with a comfortable bed and a large lock.

We loved Barb's place. Our tiny dog jumped out of the car and walked right in without us. He knew it was a good location! Their little dog Pepper is adorable and hit our dog off. Barb is a very creative chef and her husband was friendly and made us a delicious full breakfast. The bed is comfortable, the shower is amazing. The grounds are cozy and comfortable. Highly recommended!.
