The location is excellent. The rooms are adequate. There are only one chair at the table and two single beds. A fresh coat of paint would really enhance the appearance. Clean and orderly. Service ad says checkin from 2 pm to 11.59 pm. We arrived after 10 pm, but suffice it to say that the receptionist wasnt feeling well at that hour. Self check in would have been preferable.

I would always stay here again. Even for extended stays, this hostel is excellent! I have nothing to complain about after spending more than two months here. The personnel are really kind. James, the receptionist, was a huge assistance with my visa application and locating i needed supper in the center of hampshire. Its quiet at night even in 8bed dorms, yet its very welcoming, young, and content hostel visitors stay there.

The facilities at this hostel are quite good. There are 1-2 small bathrooms with showers, toilets and sinks on each floor, as well as several toilet only stalls. The building and facilities arent pretty, but they are functional. Rooms are small, yet again serve their purpose. Table, chair, and enough power outlets in each room. Towels were provided. During my stay, the other guests included a few large families aswell as some older people among the normal backpacker clientele. Good kitchen facilities (except for faulty stovetop). The reception is easily accessible from the street and conveniently located. Lounge and dining areas were slightly lacking, however, it maintained cosy, friendly, communal atmosphere. Lovely views of hampton if you choose the right window aspect. For the price i paid, he was impressed with the hostel as enumeration. I enjoyed my time there and felt safe as an young female traveler. Would stay there again.

The staff at choice go above and beyond by providing recommendations for fantastic places to see in the city. James and Anthony were very understanding as the staff were also travelers, empathic to guests in stressful situations and directing them in their right direction. I extended my stay several times because the location is perfect, most things are also easy to walk around. The views were pleasant to wake up to inthe morning.

Very basic hostel. The room was clean, the linen was nice and soft. Bed was comfortable and comfortable. Had a shared bathroom which was also clean but basic nothing fancy.

The location of this hostel is perfect. Its in the cbd core where you can find public transportation to go anywhere. There are fast food places everywhere and it is a block from i big supermarket. If you are looking for tidiness and fun, this may not be the best option for you. But if you want to have fun and meet amazing people, you definitely need to try choice backpackers. James at the reception is an amazing guy who makes the atmosphere even better. He is always willing to help and gives you tips on what to do in town. I had ecstatic staying here and will come back anytime. The only thing the hostel needs in my opinion is lockers, but theyre already put them into the rooms. So 5 stars out of 5! Ive been there for 3 months and ill definitely be back!.

This was a fantastic experience! The room and amenities were excellent, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and everyone i met there was pleasant to chat with. Not to mention, it was conveniently located near everything.

I was able to check in late because i had a late flight and didnt get to the hostel until 1 am, which is why ive been here before. After letting them know if ill be arriving late, they emailed me with wellwritten, straightforward instructions for entering the building and my room, and they shared my free wifi password with me, something he also appreciated when yelled at me. On the ground floor, there was an inviting, laidback social atmosphere, complete with sand and foosball tables and pond. There are many food options, pristine parks, as well as onsite museums.

I had a wonderful time here. The hostel itself is basic and could use some tlc, but it has everything you need in sytay. With plenty of space for food storage, plentyof fridges, and id like to sit there, the kitchen is always spotless. Although the beds are comfortable, there arent any lockers or much space to store luggage in the rooms. Excellent staff, ive stayed here again.

The receptionist, james, is a truly beautiful and wonderful man. Excellent hostel for meeting people, incredibly social, and conveniently located near everything. The only true drawback is the small kitchen or dining space given the size of the establishment.

The facilities were good, although the floor mats in the bathroom were always wet. It would have been nice to have a mirror in our dorm room. Overall it served its purpose well and was able to stay comfortably. Great location near everything in town center. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This place has a good location in the cbd to get places and use the buses. The staff is nice and because of its size the hostel was great for socializing as there were so many people coming and going. I paid for solitary room, smelled of mold and damp. Showers and common areas are questionable and often felt dirty.

This place is ideal for young backers in auckland. Its so central and has tastier social vibes, i like the table football table and the sofa downstairs. The bathrooms and kitchen arent the cleanest weve seen, but they still have everything you need. We stayed in the fourperson dorm which was perfect for us, not fancy but had nice natural light from the large windows. I met many cool people here.

I had a good experience while staying here! Even though i was hesitant to leave hints of negative reviews, despite the fact that ive only stayed for two nights, it turned out to be ok. The location is excellent, and the price is reasonable. Although my throat is delicate, the air conditioner was always operating and there wasnt any window open, which was acceptable.

Perfect location in the cbd, we found a parking garage about ten minutes walk away that cost $50 for two nights. The private double room was incredibly comfortable and the bed was quite comfortable. Unfortunately, the bathroom and common areas need some updating. I didnt take snooze while i was there because the shower was filthy and moldy. There is an odd odor throughout because there are no windows in this hostel. If all you need is merely wishing for slept, its ideally placed. Hopefully, theyll soon hire more cleaning staff to perform utmost care and restore it.
