When searching for lodging near Gore, I accidentally came across this lovely location. The owners, Shona and Brian, are terrific hosts who have a fantastic life hidden in peace and quiet with a great view. We heartily endorse staying here, the lodging and breakfast are both excellent, and we cannot express our gratitude for your warm welcome.

The location is amazing! High on the hills near Gore, it looks out over kilometres of farm land to distant hills, so bring your binoculars! The venue is clean, spacious and comfortable, and our host Brian was very lovely his wife was away at the time. He was knowledgeable about local history and had some good local food recommendations. Our room was very comfortable, had everything we needed and a view of the amazing views. Brian cooked us a feast in the morning and we tasted some of Shionna's delicious marmalade.

Thank you for the best sleep! Very comfortable stay and good hosts. I stayed while on the road for work and it was much more comfortable and warm than a motel, the room was warm and the bed was very comfortable. Wifi is fantastic. Will be back.

Since we were attending a wedding in the area, we only stayed for one night, but the room was nice and comfortable, so we would have liked to stay longer. Our hosts were very kind and even drove us back into Gore to pick up our car the next day. I highly recommend this place, in my opinion, it has stunning views, very accommodating hosts, and clean, luxurious rooms.
