This is a beautiful, new hotel with spacious rooms and a great size balcony. Decor was very neutral and beachy which fits the setting it’s in. Pool towels are provided, and can be changed daily at reception. Towels for showering were also changed daily. Water is provided free of charge every day in the room, and the cleaning was to a very high standard. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room, as well as a mini fridge and safe. Only drawback to our room was that the bathroom door appeared to be too large for the frame, but this is only minor and we reported it on checkout. Contrary to other reviews, breakfast was a very good selection of fruits, continental cheeses and meats, hot cooked options (including hashbrowns, eggs, bacon, sausages), pastries, cakes and cereals. We never had to wait to be seated, and the staff turned round tables quickly. The swimming pool area was well landscaped with a good amount of single sunbeds, as well as bean bags and double cabana style sunbeds. The pool water is rather cold which is a shame, but again only a minor issue. The poolside bar had a good selection of drinks, lunch dishes and ice creams, and the staff were very attentive ☺️ The spa area was okay, with a sauna, steamroom, showers and a indoor pool (which again was rather cold). It was disappointing that on one of the days there was a large group of young boys being extremely loud and splashing/ diving in which did take away from the relaxing environment you would ex

Editory by the Sea was fantastic. It exceeded my expectations. The hotel was very clean and staff members were very friendly. The hotel was a 15 minute walk from the old town and a 10-20 minute walk away from the different beaches in the area. If you want a quaint getaway that is close to everything I recommend staying at this hotel.

The location is great, very close to the Ponta da Piedade, a must see in the Algarve. The hotel is brand new and the rooms are very nice. Good bed and pillows. And great views of the pool in our case. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was also great although I would have liked to see more home made cakes and fresh orange juice (after all the Algarve is the biggest orange producer in Portugal!). I did not like the coffee at breakfast but the coffee in the room was nicer. I really recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a luxory type hotel in the Algarve. Location to beaches is perfect and location to old Lagos is about 20-24 mins walk.

Not in the old town in Lagos but it was really good and accessible to the two good beaches of Dona Ana and Ponta de Piedade. Room was clean, breakfast buffet was complete, and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming . Personally I will recommend it to anyone who wants to have included full breakfast, comfortable place to rest in, and want to use amenities. We didn’t use the amenities much because we were exploring all the time. But this hotel is provably one of the best ones to chill in as well.
