The reserve is spectacular in every way. The view from the buffalo hills is breathtaking. The guesthouse with spacious rooms and en suite bathrooms is fantastic. Breakfasts and lunches were wonderful, and the boys in the lap area were amazing. Small lanterns light up the walkways at night. The entire staff is always ready to help and make the stay very comfortable. At the water hole next to the main house, there are always so many animals coming to drink. We saw many impalas, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, elephants, ward hogs, birds, and many more. We went on daygame and nightgame drives. It is both an amazing experience. Mike on the steer and shireen, with her excellent eyesight at night, saw so many animals that you wouldn't see on day drives. There are so many other things to do just a short drive from buffalo hills. Shireen will arrange all the extra activities. There are tiger fishing at join, elephant and cheetah encounters. Ghost mountain treks are fantastic for a glimpse of the indigenous's tradition. For us, wilderness, wildlife, and safari excursions are top priorities.4.6/525 Feb 2023

I booked one night to stop over between Ruger and dumb reserves but after reading a good report decided to make it two nights and I'm glad we did. Beautifully appointed accommodation, excellent food and excellent game viewing on the reserve and at the waterhole a few meters from the garden fence. I could have stayed longer without a doubt and although it's perfect for a stopover it's certainly also a place to consider for a longer stay. The owners also operate an excellent butchery store and delicatessen which is located next to the petrol station in mouse. If you need to stock up on supplies when you go to the reserves on a self-catering basis, don't miss it!.4.6/52 Feb 2022

My wife and I were therefore hesitant to visit the buffalo hills safari lodge because we were unable to find many reviews or Google a lot of photos. However, don't let the abysmal information surround this location fool you. As we got there, shireen greeted us with a grin and seemed so excited to welcome us. It was seconds before we could believe that we had made the correct decision. We immediately saw buck zebras wildebeest warthogs all arriving for their daily brew. It's fantastic that there watering hole is extremely active! The homestead is a lovely rustic farmhouse with 5 bedrooms, a large loungedining space, a bar, and a dart board, and a fantastic outdoor area that is absolutely stunning. It's a quiet corner of heaven, so it's so tranquil and gorgeous. The bedrooms are spotless, the area is practically immaculate, and it's amazing. Mike and shireen enjoyed us on a night drive, seeing so many interesting new items. shireen is without a doubt the best nightstander I've ever experienced on a drive, and we've visited a few bigger than five parks. We returned to a roaring fire and took off our laptop. Despite the fact that we had reserved one night, we will return. Thank4.4/517 Sep 2023

As a stopover between the Ruger and dumb reserves, I initially reserved a single night, but after reading a wonderful report, I decided to switch to two, and I am so pleased we did. There is stunningly appointed lodging, delicious cuisine, and fantastic game viewing at the reserve and the waterhole a few meters from the garden fence. Without a doubt, I could have stayed longer, and even though it's a fantastic location for a stopover, it's unquestionably a place to consider for a longer stay. The owners also run an outstanding butchery shop and delicatessen that are adjacent to the mouse station. Do not miss this opportunity if you need to stock up on supplies before visiting the reserves on a self-catering basis.4.2/521 Mar 2023
