What a cozy and charming guest house, a stunning yard, and the nicest owners you'll meet. Annalise was the friendliest, most courteous, and most helpful of the hosts. We had a wonderful weekend thanks to the excellent breakfasts. It was our anniversary, so Annalise had flowers, candles, and chocolates planned for us. The most adorable dogs were the icing on the cake. It was wonderful, and the bed was incredibly cozy. Regards, heinie and thorn.

We were looking for a place to just sleep and the rustic butler turned out to be much more. They were very friendly and accommodating. The room was charming with lots of personal touches. I look forward to staying there when I go to White River again.

It was very good to stay at the rustic butler. We can recommend it. We were really well taken care of. We stayed there for 10 days and our room was always clean and well maintained. The room is spacious and has all the facilities you need. It is an excellent resort for long stays.

The guest house has good initial impressions. The facility offers just three rooms with wooden decks overlooking a lush green garden full of birds. It is therefore peaceful and has a wonderful setting. The room itself was simple and small, however. The least important aspect is that it lacks an air conditioner, which is crucial for the lowveld humid heat. The roof fan was loud. Although the amenities were generally good, my towel had a hole in it. Additionally, there was no safe in the room. The space does not allow anyone to sit and work on a computer or write, despite having a very small shelf. To work on a computer, I had to revert to sitting outside on the patio. The bar fridge was a plus, and it was wellstocked. The hosts' friendliness definitely receives a five-star rating. They were in touch with guests needs, were always willing to assist or just have a nice friendly conversation. Even the three dachshunds added to the comfortable friendly atmosphere. Excellent for one night, but perhaps lacks some facilities one would anticipate from a four-star establishment. Keep up your excellent job.
