When I passed this place, I saw it when passing by, so I decided to stay the night here. The guy showed me the room first before booking, and I must say it was perfect. The room was immaculate, the bathroom was spotless, clean, and well-equipped. And all for a cheap 33 euros. I'll stay here again if I visit the area. The barrestaurant is good, and the staff is very friendly, for an overnight stay it's spot on.

We stayed one night while crossing the spanish border. After a long day of driving, we came a little late. The location is ideal for those with cars because it has plenty of parking and does not require navigating secluded streets. The room was nothing special, the furniture appeared to be a little cheap, and the feel was a bit vintage travelodge, but it was a decent size and had a view of the river and town. We read a review about slippery floors in the bathroom, which we thought was strange to mention, but upon arrival we discovered that it was entirely true! Wi-Fi should have been available, but it was so awful that we were unable to use it. The receptionist didn't speak any English, which we accept since we also don't speak Spanish, but she wasn't particularly friendly. However, we also had dinner there, and the receptionist couldn't have been nicer, because she couldn't have been more welcoming and ordered successfully from her limited English and our limited spanish plus a small amount of charades. We had wine from the house, which was lovely, and steaks that were delectable and made to our demands. Would recommend this for a stopover we didn't venture into the town, but it was obvious walking distance.

We will come back when we next travel from Spain to Portugal. We will be returning when we travel from Dona Carmen, Tordesillas, to the portuguese city. It's in a perfect location, convenient for those traveling from Spain to Portugal, near the city, and has a stunning garden with a river view. The personnel was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Our room had French doors leading to a balcony with a river outlook and was light and airy, with soft neutral hues. We liked the thoughtful addition of the travel pack, which included toothpaste, toothbrush, combs, and other luxury bathroom amenities. The bathroom was lovely with a large shower, and the bed was comfy with top-notch bed linen. The halfboard option, as well as the three-course lunch with wine, were a wise decision, excellent value for the money, and we ate well. In comparison to the previous reviewer, it would be more premier inn than a travel lodge, and they seldom offer a room with a view.

We stopped here after reading reviews because it was the ideal stopover on our way from France to Portugal. It is practical in it's location, but that's all. Don't expect too much. We checked in and were given the keys to our room, but when we entered the room, there was something else in it. We received an apology and were given another room with a river view and a construction site at the back of the hotel. We weren't too worried because it was just a stopover. We ended up having supper and drinks at the hotel because most things seemed to be closed in the city until Thursday, when we were there on Wednesday. Our meal was awful! Because the menu was limited, we both had veal it was like eating an old boot! We had breakfast in the morning that was included in the cost it was served at the bar, and we got coffee, orange juice, and a slice of toast with jam. There were no options. The bed was awful. It sunk in the middle, so we continued rolling to the center.

We stopped here on the way from Portugal to France. I was very welcome upon arrival. The room was large, well-appointed, and had a fantastic view of the river. The bathroom was very modern, with all facilities. Had our dinner in the bar, which was really good value for money and of a high standard. The receptionist also did the bar and the food ordering water. She was such a nice lady who could not be faulted for her friendliness and attitude. Overall great value for money.
