El alojamiento está genial. La ubicación al lado del centro pero justo donde se empieza a subir de nivel, así que el camino es empinado. No hay muchas opciones de aparcamiento cerca, pero eso ocurre en todo Sanlucar.

This place has a beautiful old room with a comfortable atmosphere. There is also a garden where you can sit and enjoy the tranquility. The room is so stunning with a huge bathroom and AC. The room staff was very welcoming.

We enjoy Sanlucar and this is our third visit. The hotel has some strengths, the suite was lovely, and the communal rooms were full of character, but the same two things let down the place as they did three years ago when we stayed. 1. The unfriendly and surly staff and 2. breakfast. The breakfast receptionist and waiter barely could say hello or thank you during our stay. We tried to be friendly and cheerful because we were on vacation, but they never seemed utterly uninterested at best, and at worst, rude. On the first day, brunch was terrible. The tables were dirty, with full ashtrays, and the food had almost run out at 9 a.m. with only stale white bread and butter. There appeared to be a staff member or friend of the desk eating sandwich after sandwich of guest food while guests were gone without. This occurred on both days we stayed. We checked out a day early and were disappointed with the hotel. It charges too much for the service it provided.

It is an adorable structure with beautiful patios dotted around. The bedrooms have very high ceilings, which are ideal for the hot summer months in this part of the world. The complimentary toiletries in the large bathroom were a touch naughty a few sachets of bath gel and shampoo, but nothing more. However, our biggest complaint was the breakfast. There were a glass dish with about 5 mini croissants, all of which were very dry and as stale as last weeks news. The bread was fine, but there was a shortage of small plates, and there was only one plate in a pile of dinner plates. We had to ask the young man to bring more. The fruit was unattractive my wifes kiwi was very tough, almost impossible to slice into two and impossible to eat with a spoon, and my peach, which was the best looking one of three, was off. The other fruit on offer was a goldendelicious apple and one pear. One of our friends wanted muesli but no bowls were on the stand, she had to ask the guy who brought only one, so he had to go back to fetch more bowls when another wanted uesli because practically nothing else was available. Although the hotel breakfast costs only 6 euros each, we would have a much better and more varied breakfast with fresh produce

The interior design of this hostel is very good. The location is right across the street from the hotel so we can see some old buildings, like the bridge that was built in the 1980 s, a street with few buildings, and a ruined one.

Very beautiful old palace in the middle of Sanlucar de Barramede. Quirky rooms and an excellent restaurant. Please see my other review, highly recommended. The only issue is that the WiFi doesn't work.
