In the old town, this tiny and wonderful treasure is located in a peaceful area. The rooms are small but clean, have lovely architecture, and come with a wonderful collection of books. Breakfast is served at the restaurant and provides everything you need for a good start to a city trip or other. The rates are fair, and the staff is very friendly. The baseltor will definitely be my first choice again for a next visit to solothurn.

In Solothurn's old town, this is a modestly sized hotel with a restaurant. The room I stayed in was modest but tastefully decorated. At night, the bed was very comfortable and it is peaceful. The motel's adjacent restaurant is excellent, though a bit pricey. The breakfasts were excellent. The hotel's wifi is incredibly bad. Most of the time, I used my phone to access data. Overall, I thought this hotel provided excellent value for the money given its location, style, and comfort. I'd unquestionably suggest it.

Our room looked out at the cathedral. The room is nice and spacious and the location couldn't be better if you plan to visit the soleure. Breakfast served at the nearby restaurant was also very good and service people very nice.

This is a wonderful stay. We stayed in one of the tower rooms. It was just beautiful and a delight to stay in such an old but comfortable building. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. Breakfast the next morning was fresh and plentiful with locally sourced options. The staff were welcoming and helpful.

This is a typical good example of modern Swiss hotel business. The hotel is located in 3 very old buildings in the heart of Solothurn's beautiful and tiny town. The room was renovated a few years ago and had a very clean and clear design. No luxurious, but great craftsmanship and attention to detail are visible. Very comfortable beds and nice modern bathrooms. A very good breakfast with plenty of local food and perfect! Bread is served in the restaurant if you like real Swiss bread.
