I consider this an ultra-low budget hotel, subpar. I have never put nectar on any reviews because, generally, I would rather not review it if it was too poor. But this property review is an exception. I feel compelled to warn other travellers. Apart from the good attitude of the taiwanese general, the property itself is rather appalling by western standards. I stayed here for a few nights from a package arthotel. The airport taxi fare is quite inexpensive in Kaohshiung about 2025 minutes on a cab ride from the airport. The ranching district's western side of the Love River is located near it. The neighborhood is old, with some dilapidated houses just across the street. It's not too convenient, but I can deal with, and offer me a chance to explore the old neighborhood. In fact, the east side of the Love River is much more newer, and the love river is charming to walk along. Mosquito infestation is a problem I found with this motel. Using repellant incense and turning the air conditioner slightly improved, but I was still bitten a couple times. Shower area poor design, no plastic curtains or doors to keep water from over spraying into the rest of the bathroom.
