The building is cosy and beautiful, with good building technique taken to make it opulent. The lobby is like a european palace. Impressive. There are few and effective service personnel. Tour groups keep them busy. The rooms are well appointed, a standard for a five-star hotel. The wall coverings, furnishings, and carpets are elegant. I particularly enjoyed the marble bathroom sink, which was real and had gorgeous natural patterns. The pool below a waterfall appears inviting, but the water's temperature ranged from 11 to 14, which is not fun, especially with children. The management appears to not want guests to actually use the pool, otherwise, it would warm the water to at least 18 degrees Celsius.

The government decided to extend the couid level 3 alert to 7122021. But the hotel declined. My refund request for my booking on 712021. They claimed they would open anyways only the food can be served in the room. I was wondering whats the point of traveling there to practice shelterinplace policy lol? I had planned several trips at the time and both the cruise company and the inns all accepted refunds once the gov made the official announcement for the alert. I compared this fiesta hotel to small businesses. As you are free to operate during the official alert, the government decided to extend the couid level 3 alert. I just learned that the midi hotel chit valued my single booing monetization income over my satisfaction and safety. I have to share this with the community.

I stayed in this hotel a long time ago. My review might not reflect it's current condition. There aren't many hotels up there, so not everything is great but it's probably the best choice up there. Very good breakfast, but the mattress is not great and the room is a bit old.

It appears that this hotel is a four-star establishment given its grounds and entrance. The rooms are of a higher caliber than the other hotels I've stayed in. Though most Taiwanese accommodations I've stayed at appear to be of the same standard, the service is that of a star hotel. Even if the lobby is big and has an excellent position for a hike in the national park, the rooms are old with stained carpets and cheap showers with acrylic shower stalls instead of glass. All in all, the people in the area claimed this was still the top hotel in the area, so I'm not sure what other hotels are like. In general, I would advise avoiding taking the view that the rooms will be as extravagant as the lobby. Additionally, it's not too costly, so you shouldn't be overpaying.
