I would highly recommend this hotel if you are seeking a beach stay in Dar. There are quite a number of options available. Some are expensive, others are outdated, with dark rooms, and others are too much entertainment. Serene has the proper name because it is affordable, has open, clean, and light rooms, and it is peaceful. It was a little disappointing that when we arrived, we learned the hotel was in some state of rehabilitation and our room was not available because of this. Nonetheless, the staff did their best to accommodate us. We were able to check into our rooms several hours later. The room is large, with a comfortable bed, a balcony with a sea view, a perfect hot shower, and serene blue hues on the walls. Additionally, the garden is wonderful, and the common areas are tastefully and contemporaryly decorated. Breakfast is of a high caliber, especially given the cost. The hotel is right on the beach, which they work to tidy every day, but the ocean brings an abundance of rubbish. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool. The staff is also extremely friendly and attentive.

I adore the hotel's location. It is close to the ocean. You would really love to have a room with a view of the ocean. The staff is extremely kind. There are various eateries close to the hotel. There are other activities you shouldn't miss, such as Mbudya

My spouse and my nearly three-year-old son all enjoyed a wonderful stay at this hotel. We had a very roomy apartment with a tiny kitchen area complete with a microwave, sink, and kettle. We had fully functioning air conditioning, a to in the room, and a nice bathroom with a shower. From our balcony, our room had a spectacular perspective of the beach and pool area. Breakfast was fine, always had a selection of cereals, croissants, bread, yogurts, and then a hot selection mainly local dishes, but what do you expect and hot dogs and an alternate choice of cooked eggs. When we were there, the pool was always fine and never had any problems. It was usually open around am after the man had cleaned it all, but you could still sit around the pool. Because many people would come to use the pool during the weekend, it can become very busy then, which was not a problem for us. There are many restaurants nearby where you can eat cheaply if you want a change of food, such as Amsterdam, where they sell everything from pizza, burgers, sandwiches, curry, etc. Nonetheless, the cuisine at the hotel was always superb and there is a lovely seating area sheltered from the beach. The food is always freshly prepared, so you may have to wait a little longer, but it's the same everywhere
