We returned following a lovely stay last year. Beautiful hotel, decorated in the old Turkish style, but with modern facilities. From the front you look out onto the magnificent blue mosque, where you can sit in the beautiful gardens admiring this wonderful building. The hotel is very close to the main sights, a wonderful find last year. The terrace at the back where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner, or just have a quiet drink and soak up the wonderful views of the Bosphorus. The menu is authentic and very good with generous portions. I had broken my ankle in Cappadocia, a few days prior to arriving at Sultanahmet Palace hotel. All the staff were so helpful, from the receptionists, porters and especially the staff in the restaurant, who carried my wheelchair up and down steps to the terrace, helped me in and out of chairs at the table. Sometimes 3 times a day with big smiles. My husband and I would like to say a big thank you to Chef Botohon, Zeki and Alkan who were always so pleased to help us, and made our short stay in unfortunate circumstances a pleasant one. Thank goodness the hotel had a wheelchair! We will return next year, fully mobile and explore this wonderful city.

Location was excellent, so close to all the major sites, the Blue Mosque was literally next door. The building itself was grand and full of character. Our room was quite small but the views from the balcony more than made up for it. Breakfast on the terrace was an experience as again lovely views. Staff helpful and friendly but not intrusive.

This is not some flashy hotel. This is a beautiful setting. This is the kind of place that makes you feel at home. The staff was WONDERFUL! The location is perfect if you're looking to be close to many many attractions. We ended up becoming very friendly with many of the shop keepers and enjoyed tea with them most afternoons. Everything is within a short walk. Can't say enough about this property. THANK YOU for an amazing vacation!

Wonderful situated hotel, close to all the sights, giving an authentic feel. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very varied, catering for all tastes and I would strongly recommend the omelettes which are freshly made to order. I would definitely recommend Sultanahmet Palace Hotel

Mijn verblijf in Hotel Sultanahmet Palace was in één woord: uitstekend. Vanaf het moment van aankomst merk je dat dit hotel oog heeft voor detail én gastvrijheid. Het absolute hoogtepunt was zonder twijfel het ontbijt. De variatie was ruim en van hoge kwaliteit: vers, smaakvol en voor ieder wat wils. Wat het echt bijzonder maakte, was de service. De bediening was attent, vriendelijk en professioneel. Precies wat je hoopt tijdens een ontspannen reis. Het restaurant blinkt uit in kindvriendelijkheid. Bij aankomst werd er spontaan een kinderliedje opgezet, wat direct een warme en persoonlijke sfeer creëerde. Het voelde niet als een standaard hotelervaring, maar echt als een plek waar gasten, en vooral kinderen, centraal staan. Een prachtig gebaar was de verrassing voor de verjaardag van ons zoontje: het personeel kwam met een taart. Dit soort aandacht maakt het verschil tussen een goed hotel en een memorabele ervaring. Kortom: uitstekende service, een perfect ontbijt en een oprechte, warme benadering van gasten. Wij zijn zeer tevreden en zouden zonder twijfel terugkomen.
