We strongly recommend red chilli to anyone traveling to Uganda with modest means, who doesn't require extravagant amenities, but prefers a multicultural experience in a real setting. We have been visiting Red Chilli for several years for both work and pleasure, and were pleased to find that after Obama's cancellation, the place has improved and retained its friendly and cheerful atmosphere, with less travel and other restrictions. Without the help of Debbie, Antonie, Katie, and their lovely local crew, we could not have done our work at butabika hospital as effectively. Nothing was too difficult, and we were able to communicate with colleagues in Uganda with improved internet in addition to the rooms. We had the polite bar, homecooked food, the best pizzas weve ever had, and a lovely garden and pool, with spectacular views and many birds to enjoy when it was done. The onsite atm and more convenient transport options via the new Impala ring road were also helpful. Red chilli organized a fantastic and reasonably priced mini safari for us at the conclusion of our project, which reminded us of what a lovely and diverse country this is, with cheerful, warm, and resilient people and fantastic wildlife.

The nice managers and the quiet and peaceful atmosphere given the location on the outskirts of Impala are the best parts of this place. I stayed there with a friend for just under a month and quickly felt at home. We shared a room with two beds. The managers katie and anton were very friendly and helpful. They gave impala inside tips, we shared drinks and good talks with them and even helped me with an extension of my Uganda visa. The rooms were clean and the food was a mix of European and Ugandan food at reasonable prices. The place has a nice pool and very friendly staff in general.

My friend and I had the most beautiful stay at Red Chili. The staff, especially doreen and fortunate, were so friendly and helpful. Always willing to help with a smile. We enjoyed the swimming pool and beautiful views, and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back here soon and recommend anyone reading this to visit Red Chili.
