Lovely setting, clean and comfortable room. We were self catering and the wee kitchen had everything we needed. Owners were very welcoming.

Chambre très propre avec vue sur un loch. La chambre est bien équipée et est confortable. Il y a un parking derrière la partie chambre donc pas de souci pour se garer même s il vaut mieux avoir une petite voiture (c est assez étroit pour ressortir si toutes les places sont prises). La route passe devant mais la nuit est calme. Le restaurant propose une petite carte de plats mais c est suffisant et classique. Le petit déjeuner est agréable aussi. Le couple de gérants est discret mais très gentil. Il est possible de boire un verre au bord du loch ce qui est sympa avec la vue. Nous recommandons. L endroit permet vraiment une parenthèse.

Clean with kitchen facilities which was great for us . However the toaster was broken. We stayed there a couple of times and notice a few things that need attention. I would stay again as the view is lovely

What a fabulous wee gem of a motel! Everything was perfect… even if the weather wasn’t so great. The loch just outside the hotel was brimming with wild trout and my husband loved fishing from the bank(included with stay). The deer paid a visit and looked in the window while we were watching the World Cup. The room is beautifully appointed, containing everything required and more… very comfortable bed and linen, great shower pressure, heated towel rail , perfect little kitchen to self cater. The Inn is lovely and welcoming… we actually didn’t eat there because we had planned to self cater between over priced hotels… but the menu looked good and the bar very cosy. The hosts were lovely! Don’t believe any negative reviews . Places like this are hard to find in the highlands and we will definitely enjoy coming back!

We were thrilled with our room and our experience. The kitchen was well stocked, the guest information book was very helpful and interesting. Great to have the bar and restaurant next door which was a perfect setting to watch a World Cup soccer game! The hosts were delightful and the view from our room was terrific.

A lovely room beside a little loch and a great outlook. The owners were very friendly and took time to explain things to us non- locals. While the bed was on the small side we still managed to get a good sleep and the meals in the restaurant next door were adequate. Such a peaceful setting and we enjoyed our time there

Comfortable, clean room with well stocked kitchenette which enabled us to prepare simple meals. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. Friendly, helpful hosts. Beautiful view from the room and outstanding scenery in every direction. Close to Knochan Crag and Oykel Bridge & trail. We hope to return!

We enjoyed our overnight stay. It's a gem for people the NC500 and pewho enjoy trout fishing. The loch is loaded with fish. The Inn next door is part of the complex which provides hospitality aplenty, a warm fire and good company. Good beer selection and nice food. There is a BBQ but not the best of weather to use it. The room had most things you need for cooking. The beds are comfortable. The shower was a challenge to work out to use but got there. The kitchen had everything we needed. In short, a great place to stay.

What a beautiful gem outside of town. The drive from Ullapool was gorgeous and the peaceful setting on the Loch was just ideal.
