Many reviews do not unplease you. This hotel is pleasant, the staff is utterly helpful, and the meals are excellent. The bathrooms are a little basic, but the bathroom has a wonderful shower, and the panoramas are stunning. We stayed with our dog, but they both complained and brought her treats and water while we were eating. The bed was quite comfortable, the bedroom was clean, the bedding was new, and the towels were fluffy. I think it is well worth the money we paid at just over 80 per night once we get meal vouchers, etc. On the island of Skye, where youd be paying 3 or 4 times more if you stayed just over 80 per night, this place is worth the price.

The hotel's breakfast was nice, but the service was awful because of the dining room food. The bar service was also good. Sadly the room wasn't that good. We stayed at the Dunollie Hotel in Bradford.

The Dunollie Hotel is a decent hotel in Skye. Your grandparents would be staying there, and that was the big majority of other hotel guests. Dinner is available for reservations, but a more comprehensive menu is available at the bar. Most of the time the system relied solely on local channels. The bed was quite uncomfortable. Breakfast is included and includes a wonderful coffee maker. It is typical Scottish breakfast, but there are cold cereal options.

A large hotel that is simple to locate. Having checked with them in advance if this was alright, I reserved a guardroom for four people. Due to the way small such rooms are, I didn't have high expectations. The back of the hotel, which overlooked a courtyard, had this one larger than I anticipated. nice restroom. There's a place to put things, such as suitcases, there isn't enough space for four people. Not at all pleasant at check-in. But then, they take on large numbers of tourists, which we observed at supper. There is nowhere to unload luggage before, and parking is down a steep side street. Since the coach car park next door was packed, we had to park outside the entrance on a busy street. The next day, we learned that we could have used a lower door to enter the hotel after getting out of the car park. The bar is in a busy zone and not particularly appealing. The restaurant was packed, the food was tasty but expensive, but everything in skye seems to be. The friendly staff, particularly the lovely new Polish waitress. Breakfast was decent, with the standard selection of cooked food. Overall, an effective stop, but it would have been nicer in skye.
