Great stay at an old coaching inn. The room was small but clean and has everything we need for an overnight stay. The entire staff was great, there were some lovely beers and the food was good. Will stay there again when next in the area.

We visited the Five Bells in Wickham on Sunday 2 feb. It was delicious. The cuisine was just as it was at home. Delicious melt in the mouth meat, crispy roast potatoes, gorgeous and hot, and a lot of delicious gravy! Awesome touches as well. We also took advantage of the attractive and reasonably priced lodging. We wish Duncan and his team good luck and will definitely return.

After a wine tasting trip, we booked a dinner and an overnight stay. What a great experience. We were welcomed warmly and kindly and taken to our well-appointed light and airy room. After that, we had a delicious meal, which was beautifully prepared and served. After that, we had a drink in the garden. Last but not least, the nice and welcoming staff made us feel really safe.

I have a delicious lunch at the five bells today in their beautiful, spacious beer garden. Started with the delicious beetroot and feta tart which was a great size for a starter. After that, I had the raging tagliatelle of beef shin which was rich in meat and delicious flavours. My husband also liked the fish and chips, which he frequently eats and he says was superb.
