Lovely friendly pub with some accommodation. This is my second stay, and I was made to feel very welcome upon arrival. Great range of beers and ciders with quiz nights and cheese evenings during the week

After a long motorbike trip from Plymouth to Harrogate my husband stayed here for a night half way he said it was an absolute gem and loved his room and bathroom. The pub was welcoming and friendly and had a food truck too.

Booked the Hanbury turn as we had family wedding Was really pleased with Hanbury turn was very helpful as we need to book in early the the manager called me back to say we could on arrival the staff were very friendly and made you very welcome was shown to room was clean and very bright on returning from our family wedding had really lovely night sleep will definitely been returning
