It's a good old-school local pub with two excellent pool tables, dart board, music, and many sports. Sam provided fantastic service, always cheerful and cheerful. And then there's a great barman.

This is a tiny gem of a pub. I couldn't recommend anything better if you needed a place to rest your head for business or onward travel. It certainly has a communal bathroom, but hey, it's a very small drawback given the price. The rooms are spotless and have a sink, so you can get out and shower quickly and back to your room for teeth cleaning etc. The proprietor, employees and locals are all fantastic, friendly, and welcoming. The sister pub that is 10 minutes walk serves excellent food for a fair price, giving you the best of both worlds, a good place to stay, and a great meal. Highly recommend this charming old-fashioned back street boozer. Thanks to the Rob team and locals.

The pool table here is wonderful, plus the jukebox here is fantastic with all sports on several tes and the service here was very good, especially with Gemma.
