Edinburgh is a city that if your visited it once , you'll be coming back many times. And this hotel catches the spirit of Edinburgh completely. Location can't possibly be better. We walked everywhere, the best food is there, the best attractions are steps away. Because we stayed there two times, one before Glosgow and the second after, we sampled two different rooms and were very happy with both. The views from the windows were stunning. The beds were very comfortable. These people really understand the meanning of hospitality. The breakfast room is a work of art. Super cozy with increadible views, comfy armchairs and super delicious food . Their service is the next demention. When we walked out of Waverly Station and saw our hotel, we felt so home!!! There are million little things that made our stay so wonderful. Sweets, full free minibar, quiet pleasant music... Although everyone in this hotel was increadibly wonderful and this is our greatest thank you to them all, we have to say very very special thank you to the most wonderful ladies in the breakfast room And huge thank you to David. Professionalismat the highest level! In today's world when hotels demand that you do everything yourself, having an old world ambiance and care is extremely valuable. Thank you!!! Can't wait to see you all again!

The hotel is a gem. Rooms are really great with upscale products and a super comfortable bed! Very quiet. Staff amazing! Rooftop bar really cool. Only thing missing was a fitness room. Would most definitely return. Highly recommend!!

Loved this hotel! Very convenient to everything in Edinburgh. If you’re coming from Waverley station, it’s directly across the street with no stairs. We were promptly greeted with champagne and our room had everything we needed. I think if you upgrade your room, you also get upgraded amenities like a Dyson hairdryer per our friends. The bar upstairs has a great view and a lovely list of drinks. The bed was super soft and by far our favorite of the trip. We had no complaints about this hotel! It was everything we needed to end our 2 week Scotland trip.

The hotel is in a great location. Close to Waverley Bridge (bus stop), and both Old and New Town. The staff was very welcoming and accommodated our early arrival. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend Market Street Hotel!

Amazing hotel. Stumbling distance from Waverly station, very quiet inside. Ideally situated for the Royal Mile, Princes Street. Free snacks and drinks - worth the whole visit! Beautiful room. Absolutely amazing place. Staff really helpful and attentive.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were well equipped and came with slippers. Many nice touches to make our stay special. Great mini-bar with snacks and beverage selection. I rarely leave reviews, but felt this one deserved the praise. P. S. Make sure you try the salted caramel fudge at the front desk!

An excellent hotel, an easy walk from the train station. Edinboro. Amenities include in room mini bar that's included, modern, clean rooms with all the features you can want. The staff is extremely accommodating and helpful The breakfast buffet is not to be missed. Champagne's offered at every breakfast and the buffet itself is both includes hot and cold items.

Good location, excellent service, and a truly commendable breakfast highly. Rooms very quiet, despite the hotel being in the centre of Edinburgh. The rooms can be a bit on the small side, and having the hand wash basin in the hall is somewhat eccentric.

This hotel was one of the highlights of our recent trip. From the moment we were greeted with champagne to the voucher for more champagne in our room plus free snacks and drinks, to the excellent breakfast, again with more champagne, terrific rain shower, and great location in between New and Old town and just steps from the train and the airport bus, it exceeded all expectations! I’d absolutely stay here again next time I am in town.
