Huge room with a big comfortable bed. The ensuite was also large and had a lovely large corner bath. Food was top notch both in the evening and breakfast. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Fantastic staff couldn't fault them. Food was amazing, very tasty. Room was nice but alot of dust around especially on back of TV and around the wardrobes etc. Jacuzzi bath didn't work but was still overall a fantastic place which I would highly recommend to all!

stayed at the Green Man many times over the years with my family and grand children. we liked the chalets and its close to where we visit , The Shuttleworth Collection.the only few niggles i have is perhaps more choice of draught bitter im not a real ale person and some modesty curtains in the bathroom as people can see in despite the frosted glass.

Highly recommended. I will definitely stay again - and next time I'm booking an additional room for my Mum. Perfect for travelling on your own, with a friend/family member or as a couple (20s to 80s!!) Single rooms (good size) and double rooms, each slightly different (see their photos). Very clean, very comfortable, warm (it was down to 4C when I arrived fairly late in the evening). Kettle in the room with tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided. Plenty of sockets in my room and phone charger point by the bed. Hot and powerful shower. This charming, olde worlde pub with a separate, modern and tasteful accomodation section is in a beautiful, quiet countryside setting, yet just a few minutes from the A1, so it's easy to find. Plenty of free parking. Free WiFi (with code from the staff) and WOW what a fantastic breakfast choice. Friendly staff (including the chef who took my order for the cooked breakfast ). Loved everything. I wanted to stay another night but it was fully booked with a 60th Wedding Anniversary party. Will definitely stay again.

was a great stay . room was fab also nice check in . staff who now run the green man are the best. will be back there had 5 hour drive from west wales. and due to the the way thing are at this time had to make change to booking staff who helped did a great job in helping us.the food was the best .cant wait for the next time we travel back to the area was worth the 5 hour drive.thank you to all the staff at the green man .

Staff very friendly and room was comfortable. Some areas are a bit tired but they are just starting a complete refurbishment. Breakfast was self-service and had an adequate choice. We would stay here again.

Staff are extremely friendly and polite we stayed on a very busy night with an event taking place so staff busy and had a bit of a wait checking in. The walls are a bit thin so could hear a joining room and only 1 teabag in room but OK as got cuppa at breakfast. Breakfast was very good and chef is so lovely. The restaurant is fantastic
