A clean room with friendly staff and a warm welcome. Good menu available for dinner (lots of local seafood options). Dog friendly. Good breakfast. Convenient location for a walk to the Needles and along the coast.

A very enjoyable one night stay at the highdown inn. We were half way through a 70 mile run around the coastal path and needed to set off early so we would have missed breakfast, but the staff were kind enough to cook us some delicious bacon sandwiches to take with us as a packed lunch. In addition to this I left my headphones in the room and didn't realize until I was back in Bembridge. I didn't have time to drive all the way back before getting my Ferry home. I contacted them about it and they kindly packaged and posted them back to me very promptly. It's fair to say they go above and beyond for their guests at the Highdown Inn and I would have no hesitation recommending it to anyone thinking of staying in the area.

I only stayed for one night but wishing I stayed for longer now! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved the space, the bedroom was comfortable and clean, and gave a very homey b&b feeling. I took transit and found it fairly straightforward to get to. And its an easy walk to the Tennyson monument! Would definitely recommend!

This is an absolute gem of a hotel and location If your planning a break ..walking ...cycling or just touring the island i eould highly recommend The mixture of traditional pub style bar..excellent food selection. and quality.mixed with the modern day room designs..and warm inviting staff i would highly recommend

Perfect twin room, not the biggest but everything you need, bright, cheerful and very well presented. Friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Dinner in the evening was delicious with a good selection of real ales. Breakfast room (not in the main pub) is lovely and lots of choice. Parking right outside, very handy for the Tennyson Memorial and a walk to the Needles. Can’t fault it and will definitely come back.
